Back at the Cullen's house, they are having a family meeting to discuss Bella's arrival to Forks and how it will affect their family.
Rosalie- I say we should kill her!
Carlisle- Ah… I agree with Rosalie.
Edward- But? … You always take my side!
Carlisle- yeah … well… remember our agreement? Every time we have a family meeting, we sit in the same order and I will support someone different every time, clockwise. Remember?
Edward- Wait! Alice is having a vision!
Because Edward has the power to read minds so he sees Bella crying in her bedroom. In another vision Edward sees Jacob Black kissing Bella, she is trying to hit Jacob but then gets a bruised hand, and also Edward sees Bella and himself holding a baby.
Edward- Enough! Stop thinking about your visions!
Alice- Sorry! Bossy boots (murmuring)! Are you afraid of the future? The truth?
Edward- NO! (Snarling)
Alice- Good! Then you shouldn't tell me to stop having these visions unless you don't like what you see.
Esme- Can someone please someone tell me what is going on?
Alice- Stay out of this! Mom!
Edward- Yeah! Stay out of this!
Carlisle- Don't talk like this to your mother!
Esme- my hero! (To Carlisle)
Edward (murmuring) - Parents…
Alice has another vision that Edward and Bella gets married.
Edward- when will you stop having these horrible visions?
Alice- my powers are like your powers, you can't switch it off, but you can just ignore it. My powers are different, I see the future, and I can't ignore what I see. Can you ignore what you are seeing? (Calmly)
Edward- NO!!!
Esme- Now, now…children calm down.
Alice and Edward sit down.
Rosalie- What do you think, Emmett? Should I wear shiny pink nail varnish tomorrow to make myself look more shimmery or the easy coloured pink to show my girl ness?
Esme- I think you should go with blood red, to show that you are no normal person.
Edward- That would look stupid. Red and pink doesn't do with green.
Rosalie- who are you to tell me how to dress?
Edward- Your step-brother?
Rosalie- What ever. I know how to use make up and the wardrobe, unlike you, you look like a person who has just climbed out of the bin!
Esme- She's right!
Edward- Mum?
Esme- What? What did I do wrong?
Edward- You're taking her side!
Esme- Remember, your father just said that for todays meeting we are taking Rosalie's side.
Emmett- Since when?
Jasper- Since Carlisle decided, but I don't know when it was.
Emmett- No, I mean since when do we talk about nail varnishes and colours and matching colours?
