Prologue

"It starts off as a foundation..That foundation becomes the key part of all instances that are the outcome of the beginning. Yesterday, that foundation was cracked and quickly shattered by an opposition of tremendous force and arms. Within our collected cabinet of distinguished leaders, a venom has protruded, and spread into the main arteries of our political force. Many of our faithful advisors of this nation have disbanded from us, and fled, leaving us in a political crisis.."

The man at the podium was leaning against a carved oak stand, which had once carried a lifetime of speeches and messages to the public. Until now, there was yet to be a letter of distinguished posture and polish that carried such strong wording. He gazed up upon to the blinding ceiling lights, which were unyielding to his eyes.

"Upon several hours beforehand, we have learned that sovereign nations have been forging alliances within each other's treaties and scripture. We have only to suspect a foul display to perform within the future." Again, he gazed up unto the lights, sweat beads rolling off his pale face. He looked weary and exhausted, as though he could barely support his own weight even with the help of the wooden stand.

"Thus the remaining cabinet is hereby declared all political power and military force that is needed to overcome this obstacle, and completely fix this nation." Right then and there, he knew he had said it to fast. With that, he felt his head shake back and forth slightly, as though he was disappointed at himself. Soberness reinstated itself within him, and he murmured a "thank you", while swiftly walking offstage. He knew many would be enraged, even wanting bloodshed. His blood, the members of the cabinets blood. Now walking out of the building, security ushering him towards a steel plated armored car, he glanced up at the sky. The clouds consumed everything, and the colors were of dark gray and faded black.

Suddenly a gurgle came within the mans throat, as lead quickly entered and exited leaving a large hole. His arms shot up to cover the wound, and his face became a twist of hurt and agony. Hands grabbed him, bodies covering all sides of his frail body. Blood trailed down his dress shirt and suit jacket, blotches of dark red liquid mixing in with the fabric.

"Cover me!" Came an order from someone else. Short bursts of gun fire could be heard, automatic rifles replaying the sound of thunder again and again. His vision blurred out and in, never stabilizing, and right then and there, he died.
