The secret
I cant believe im going to do this. Im only 18 and I mean what do I know? Well, I do know that I love El more than anything and I want to really show it. Today is me and Els 6th year anniversary together, this year it's really going to count. The past 5 years have been amazing,adventures,and fun i'm excited to do it. - Mike
So today Mike asked me to come with him on a road trip. I told Hopper and Joyce and let me just say they weren't thrilled about the idea. But after about an hour and some phone calls they said it was alright to go but I needed to call them. I was a little suspicious when Hopper said I could. I mean he hardly lets me even leave the house! -Eleven
Mike picked Eleven up at 8:30.
"So where are we going?" Asked El smiling.
" Well….. That's the thing, I can't tell you." He really meant it! The car ride was long. It took 4 hours. Plus it got so late that they ended up staying in a hotel.
The next morning Mike woak up El, and they headed back on the road. When they arrived Mike was nervous as heck and had the shakes. They got out of the car and started on a trail.
"Mike seriously, where are we going?" Eleven asked once more.
" I told you, I can't tell you."
She raised an eyebrow. " Your lucky I trust you with my life Mike." Then they arrived. Mike began a short speech:
" El, we have been through so much together. And when I say " so much" I dont say it lightly. I honestly don't know how you put up with me. I- "
"Mike what is this?"
He lightly set his finger to her lips. " Shhhh" He laughed.
" Let me finish! Ok as I was saying, I love you. And I can not imagine life without you. El I want our love to be forever. "
He grabbed something from his back pocket and got on one knee and said, " Now usually I would call you El but not for this situation impriticular. Jane Hopper, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"
Eleven let a tear escape her eye and said, " Yes Michael Wheeler, I absolutely will."
Mike stood up and kissed El and they just stood there for what seemed like hours before they finally went home to share the good news.
