A/N: My mother passed away yesterday. Strangely enough, I had my two drabbles for Sunday written early. I decided to go ahead and post them. They are both dedicated to my lovely mother, Eleanor. Every single Sunday, I would call her after my visit to the grocery store and sometime during our chat, she would ask me what the drabble word was for the day. Then she'd tell me whether she thought the word was easy or hard. I always loved her for asking.

Disclaimer: Neither the boys nor anything related to Supernatural belongs to me. I'm just having some fun with the boys, playing around with Eric Kripke's sandbox.
IT'S RAINING, IT'S POURING; DEAN WINCHESTER IS SNORING
By: Vanessa Sgroi
Sam rolled over and groaned, pulled the pillow tight around his head—a useless attempt to block Dean's cringe-worthy congestive snoring. The heavy rain and thunder outside failed to even remotely drown out the cacophony. Finally giving up, he called, "Dean! Dean, wake up!"
A snuffle. A snort. Another snuffle. Then… "Wha? S'meee?"
"You're snoring," Sam hissed.
"Ah, am?"
"Yes. Roll over or something."
"Uh'kay." After a few beats, "S'rainin'."
"I know. Go back to sleep."
"No…s'rainin' right here." Dean patted his nose.
"No that's just your runny nose, Dean."
"Oh. Ya sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure. Go back to sleep."
