I wrote this 100 word short for the "Briefly Dexter 100-Word Drabble Challenge at Live Journal" The key word is "bathtub" for this go round. I own nothing of Dexter etc.

In everyone's life comes a defining moment that changes everything, forever. For Dexter there have been two. The first was in a cargo container, the second in his own bathroom. The bathtub was filled with Rita's blood along with her lifeless body, frozen in her last moments' attempt to see her son and cling to life. Dexter looked into her dead eyes that could see no more, now only able to reflect his horror as Harrison sat in his mothers' blood on the floor. This had happened before; change the names but the results were the same; everything had changed.
