Chapter 1

Tom Riddle, a boy of mysteries and wonder. How the story begins you already know. You also know how it ends. But do you know how it all happens.

Tom is walking down the train station. He sees the train to go to Hogwarts. Before he goes on board he looks around. In amazement, he sees a world of beauty. Young kids are waving around a stick and making thing appear or disappear. He sees magnificent little creatures roaming around humans without a worry. And not once did he hear a mother or father scowl at their children. All he sees are loving families saying goodbye to their loved ones and saying hello to new friends. And for first time in his life, Tom Riddle has a something on his face, a smile filled with joy.

On the train, Tom was sitting next to some friendly people. A boy named Giza was talking to Tom. And a girl named Samantha was looking out the window. She had luscious hair, fair skin, and lovely eyes. She made Tom fall in love.

Tom a boarded the boats to Hogwarts. The water was as calm as the night. Tom looked up toward the moon; it was shining as perfectly as the sun. Then his focus directed to the grand building he was sailing to. It was the most magnificent thing he had ever seen. The lights were soft and inviting. Tom was looking at what he saw as heaven. Getting closer, Tom saw that the building was a piece of art. The walls, the door, everything was carefully crafted. Suddenly there was a feeling inside him, a tingling sensation. Tom felt like this place was where he belonged.

In Dumbledore's office, Tom sat in a chair in front of Dumbledore's desk.

"So, Mr. Riddle, it seems you found Hogwarts very inviting," Dumbledore spoke.

"Yes sir, it is quite the sight to see," Tom said in a very anxious voice. "But I fear one thing."

"What is it?" he asked.

"I fear I may be different from others, I may not be accepted by others," Tom said, feeling childish.

"Alas, I was hoping you would say that. But I assure there is nothing to fear. Being in the Muggles world, you are an outsider. But in Hogwarts, we are all wizards, we are all different."

And with that, Tom was defiantly sure he finally found his home.
