"Get the fuck away from him before I break every single bone in your body." Steve's body was shaking in a pure rage, he was tightly gripping his shield.
Bucky was lay there, almost unconscious, "Stevie?" He said croakily, blood was dripping down from his head. His captors had lifted him up by his face and he coughed up a little blood.
"Well, the great Captain America, come to save his boyfriend at last." The guy holding up Bucky said from under his mask, "Take off your mask and give us your shield and we'll let him go." All they needed was the vibranium, after all, that's why they kept Bucky hostage. Can't find the source of the vibranium? Find the guy who has some and kidnap the thing he loves most in the world.
"Don't do it, Stevie," He says, his voice still croaky.
Steve just took off his mask and threw his shield to the floor, "Now fucking let him go!" Steve yelled. They dropped Bucky to the floor and Steve sprinted over to him, "Buck? Buck, talk to me!"
"Stevie," Bucky smiles a little, his eyes shutting a little.
"Don't close your eyes! Please don't close your eyes." Steve scoops Bucky up bridal style and running back to the jet with him. Stark-Tony-was sat with the engine running, "Put your foot down to a hospital now!!"
Bucky lifted his hand slightly so it met Steves cheek, "Stevie, I need to say something, in case I-"
"Don't, you're getting out of this alive."
"Steve."
"No, you're going to get through this."
They'd got to the nearest hospital and they rushed Bucky in.
Steve felt tears drip down his face and he paced the waiting room. Suddenly a nurse came, "Mr. Rogers? You can go and see Mr. Barnes now."
Steve ran into the room and sat beside Bucky's hospital bed, crying, he took hold of Bucky's hand and said softly, "Bucky, Bucky I need you to wake up. Please please I need you." Steve pressed his lips to Bucky's knuckles. Steve loved Bucky, he loved him so much, he didn't know how Bucky felt about him but Steve loved Bucky.
"Stevie?" Bucky said softly, his voice croaky.
"You're alive! Thank god," Tears flooded down Steve's face and Bucky pulled him into a gentle hug, not giving a shit that he was currently in pain.
"I'll be here til the end of the line, Stevie. I'm with you 'til the end of the line..."
