Miley was wandering around on the beach thinking. When did it happen? When did she fall for Oliver? Deep down she knew she always liked him as more than a friend. "But does he feel the same way?" She thought. She let a sigh and sat down on the warm sun-baked sand. She wrapped her arms around her legs and looked out at the ocean. "Hey Miles." Said a voice behind her.
She turned her head and saw Oliver standing behind her. "Hey." She answered. "Mind if I join you?" He asked. "No." She said. He sat down next to her and said, "So..." Miley looked over at him. "So." She said back. "So why do you seem so down today?" Oliver asked. "Oh no reason just kinda feeling low." She answered. "Oh." He said. Then Miley felt brave, "Oliver what if you like someone but don't know if they like you back. And you're afraid to tell them because you don't want to weird anything out but all you want is to just be with them…" Miley was cut off by Oliver gently kissing her lips. "I understand Miles." He said. She smiled at him. "You always do." She said resting her head on his shoulder. He put his arm around her and held her close. They watched the sun set against the ocean and were happy to finally be together. It had taken too long.
Oliver walked Miley back to her house and when they got to the porch he put his arms around her waist and she put hers around his neck. "Oliver I'm so glad were finally together." Miley said resting her head on his chest. "Me too Miley, me too." He answered. Miley lifted up her head and looked into his eyes. He looked back moving his face closer. Their lips met and they never wanted the kiss to end. Just then the front door opened and Robbie Ray was greeted with his daughter and Oliver kissing on his porch. Miley and Oliver sprang apart and looked nervously from one person to another. "Uhh umm well goodnight Oliver." Miley said quickly walking into the house. "Goodnight Miley. Goodnight Mr. Stewart." Oliver said turning to leave.
Robbie shook his head and smiled, "Crazy kids." He said to himself then went back inside chuckling.
