In the Underworld, Hades tapped his fingers, impatiently on his throne, waiting for his guest. He hated waiting, almost as much as being secretive, which unfortunately, was why this had to be so secretive; he didn't want his son, Nico to find out about this. Not that Nico was coming back anytime soon; ever since he met that Will boy, Nico had been spending less and less time in the Underworld.
Though Hades would never admit it, he actually felt quite lonely with the absence of his son. He had some company, with some dead souls in the Underworld, and one soul in particular, but he had to admit, he missed the presence of someone who was alive.
"Father, you called for me?" a soft, female voice spoke.
Hades turned around, and there stood his daughter, Bianca di Angelo, standing before him. She looked so much like her mother, beautiful, dark hair and olive skin.
"Ah, yes." Hades told her. "We have a bit of an issue."
Bianca tilted her head, worriedly, "What is it, Father."
Hades sighed, "A soul escaped, that boy you'd been so attached to, along with his family?"
Bianca's eyes widened, knowing exactly the boy he was talking about, "He did? His great-granddaughter is worried about him!"
Hades rolled his eyes. Human emotions were so delicate, even when they were dead. "Yes, well he's fine, but our secret isn't safe."
Bianca thought for a moment, then her eyes got brighter, as though a lightbulb went off. "You mean Nico? He'll find out?"
Hades nodded, "He may find out. The escaped soul is close to two of Nico's friends, and family."
No more than a year ago, Hades told Nico that Bianca had chosen rebirth, and disabled his ability to speak to Bianca. Both Hades and Bianca agreed that his obsession with trying to raise Bianca from the dead had reached its peak, and Hades understood the only way Nico would stop was if it became impossible for him to raise her from the dead.
"We have to get this soul back before he meets Nico."
