I want an exciting life
My first story, an HM one! It's based on the FoMT Harvest Moon game. I don't own any of these characters, and more generally Harvest Moon!
This story may contain Yaoi (love story between 2 men) 'cause I think it could be interesting to include this. And, you'll see, it'll be kinda essential in the story XD It may contains kind of sexual scenes. But, don't worry. No details. O_o Oh, and there won't be any Yuri. I'm a girl so I find it way more disgusting than Yaoi stories.
I'll try to write a long story. I mean, a story with more than 5 chapters, with details… For the moment, you may think it's a story about depression. XD Well, it's only an introduction…
Introduction: Welcome to Fallintern Farm
- *SIGH*
Jack looked around him. He shouted in a little stone. Taking care of Fallintern. That was his goal. But what did he really want? It was only his first day and he was already complaining. It's too hard, he'll never make it… All these things were in his head. The new farmer thought about "before". Before, when he was living in New York. Before, when he was going to school. Before, when he was with his parents. Before, when life was kinda easy. Before, when he wasn't like THAT. When he wasn't complaining about everything, when he wasn't thinking he'll fail in everything. Before, when he wasn't depressed.
Why was he depressed? He didn't know. So many things happened last year. There was his mum, of course. Maybe it was this event that was really at the beginning of all. Jack loved his mum. Maybe more than he loved his father. Yeah, if he thinks really about it, he always had problems with his dad. He wasn't even here for 13 years. He came back from nowhere, telling everyone he realized what he was missing. And Jack decided to forgive him, to give him a last chance. Everyone told him "You have only one father, why don't you trust him? He may be sincere…". Maybe Jack can't take a decision alone. Maybe he follows too much the others. It's most probably true.
Nothing special really happened for 5 years. And one day, Mum saw the man she loved kissing Jack's girlfriend. When she told this to Jack, she stopped her sentence, blushed, stopped looking her son in his eyes, and said quietly "You know… I just can't tell you how it… how… omg.". Jack understood that there wasn't only a kiss. Did he cry? No. He didn't. To be exact, he COULDN'T. And he saw her mum, closing the door behind her, he felt like… that something would go wrong. This was the last time he saw his mum. Seeing her, after her car accident, in the hospital isn't really "seeing her".
Loosing a mum, a girlfriend, a dad (again). Loosing a friend. An old friend. One of the best he had. The old Clint Falling died 2 months ago, leaving a kinda dead Fallintern farm: he was too old, too sick to take care of it these last months. For Clint, for his memory, Jack decided to take care of Fallintern. Clint wanted him too.
Why did he decide to "adopt" this farm? Maybe to flee New York. To flee all his problems, to flee all these memories. Maybe because he wanted to make a whole new life.
- So, he thought, the best thing I could do is to go to town. Yeah, this would help me to feel better. I should try to forget.
