AN: this is follow-up thingy on 'Graduation', sense some people asked for it (and thanks for the support and good reviews) I hope you like it as much as the first, it doesn't actually deal with the same subject, but it does tie in with Graduation.
Mia sighed, staring down into her cup of now cold tea. It had been a year sence the boys had left for college, and even though they stopped by every chance they got, it still wasn't the same. Sage came by once a week to check up on her and give her some companionship. Not that she didn't have any other friends, a job, or go out, but she was so used to having five guys and a tiger tramping around, making noise and basically livening up the house. Now all she had was a tiger.
" But all you do is lay around, you big rug. " Mia thought out loud, gently nudging White blaze who was at her feet. He lifted his head and softly growled at her and laid his head down to return to his former state: sleep. Just as he was drifting off, he quickly lifted his head up again, looking at the foyer.
"Who is it, Blaze?" Mia asked, setting her tea down and getting up to check on who would be visiting. "Sage came by yesterday, and the rest of the boys wouldn't be coming till next month, so it must be a delivery or a friend." Mia again thought out loud as she made her way to the door, pushed the 'big rug' out of the way, and opened the door. There, decked out in jeans, polo shirts and sunglasses stood Sechmet, Dais, and Cale. They looked a little startled that she knew they had arrived without them making themselves known, and then Sechmet spotted the tiger.
"Damn tiger spoiled the surprise. " he muttered to the other two.
"Cale. Sechmet. Dais. Hi! What brings you here?" Mia said, backing up and motioning the three in and closing the door. They walked into the living room, and as Mia came in behind them, she gasped in surprise. Cale had a bouquet of exotic looking flowers, Sechmet held out a box of chocolates, and Dais held out a stuffed white tiger, resembling White blaze down to the last stripe. They all looked a little embarrassed, but other wise happy to be doing this.
"We decided to check up on you, now that the Ronins have left, we thought you might be a little lonely." Cale explained. Mia started to cry. "What, don't you like them? What I say? I'm sorry, what did I say?" Cale said quickly, looking concerned at the crying woman in front of them.
"No, no. I'm crying because I'm happy! You guys are so nice! Thank you!" she said and ran over to them to give them each a hug and a peck on the cheek, making each blush in turn. She laughed at their reactions. "I don't know how to thank you! Oh, I just got an idea. I'm taking the three of you to lunch! Sit down, and I'm going to get ready." She said, running up stairs and not giving them time to say any different. They soon sat down, and after ten minutes, Mia came down. She had on a light blue belly shirt, black capris, and black sandals with a small heel. Her red hair was up in a bun, and she had on a minimal amount of makeup, just enough to bring out her eyes and set off her skin in a healthy glow. All three ex-warlords stood, stunned at the change. She hopped down the stairs and was out the door, calling for them to follow before they came out of their trances. They obediently followed.
Well there it is (the first chapter anyway) I cant decide on who I should hook Mia up (sorry for all the Mia x Ronin fans out there, this will be a Mia x Warlord) tell me who to put her with!
PS- for all the Ronin x Mia lovers out there, which one should I do first? I'm gonna try all they boys with Mia in separate stories, so who should I start off with?
