Intro
It was silent. There was nobody else in the room. It was dark. It wasn't necessary to be with eyes opened to notice the darkness. It was cold. Even being on bed covered with the window closed, the cold entered the room. Not sleeping yet. Even laid, with eyes closed David was noticing everything around him. He found a way of heat himself in bed. He felt asleep for some time.
Outside his apartment, the streets were almost empty. Some time has passed and David woke up. Something was disturbing him but not even he knew what was wrong. He just couldn't fell asleep. Somehow he found himself a bit strange... he doesn't know why. No different drink or food he took the day before. It was almost 6PM and the sun was rising. He put his clothes and opened the front door of his apartment. Going downstairs, he felt like if he was light... the sensation was like if he was walking on clouds. Reaching the 1F corridor, he walked out the building. There was absolutely nobody else in that building. At that time some other workers used to leave the building for work. On streets, he could face nobody.
David walked to the market as he always did on mornings to have his breakfast before going to work. It was still dark but some beams of light were seen coming from the sky. A rat passing next to him called his attention for some second. His surrounding suddenly became lighter and lighter. He quickly looked forward again. A huge truck which came apparently from nowhere was running his direction. All he could see was that its driver looked strange. He had no time to think before running left and jumping to the middle of street. The truck crashed the wall and a power pole near the place where David was before.
The crash damaged the truck and the container of oil leaked the street. The pole felt the streets sparking. The oil was quickly flowing to the sparking wires. David saw that situation and tried to get rid of that place but the flames came to his direction. The noise of the explosion of that truck was too loud that woke him up. He jumped from his bed, looked his room and noticed that it was just a nightmare…
