"A cat?"

Hawkeye Pierce looked at his bunkmate and best friend. BJ shrugged. "They're sleek, lean, independent, quick, proud, and sexy," the younger man said. "They're self indulgent, enjoy being pampered, and look good."

Hawkeye preened. "Flatterer," he said. "OK, if I'm a cat, then what's Charles?"

BJ frowned thoughtfully. "While part of me wants to say boar, I guess I'll chose peacock."

Hawkeye giggled and sipped his martini. "He'll kill you when he gets off Post Op. Radar?"

"Radar," BJ mused. "Ummm...squirrel. Cute, hard worker, a bit nuts."

Hawkeye chuckled again. "Hotlips?"

"Lioness. With really fast paws and claws."

"Klinger?"

"Magpie." BJ leaned back on his cot, sipping his drink. Hawkeye's dim lamp was the only light in the late night.

"Potter."

"Warhorse," BJ shot back.

"Igor?"

"Giraffe."

"Kellye?"

"Koala."

"That's not even a Hawaiian animal."

"It's just what I thought of," BJ explained.

"I don't think she eats eucalyptus leaves."

"Father Mulcahy?"

BJ pursed his lips. "An old, easy going bear."

"Frank Burns."

"You called him. A ferret."

"And you?" Hawkeye asked.

BJ smiled. "Me...a leopard."

"Leopard? Are you kidding? You'd be bigger than me."

"I call them like I see them." BJ grinned and Hawkeye snorted. "Then you choose."

Hawkeye studied his friend. "A dog," he finally announced.

"A dog?!"

Hawkeye laughed at BJ's indignation. "It's not that bad," he said.

"Great, I'm the camp mutt."

"Beej, think! Dogs are faithful, loyal, hard working, devoted, loving, smart."

"Obedient," BJ said with a trace of disgust.

Hawkeye walked over and straddled BJ, pushing him back on the cot. "Obedience can be fun," he purred. He grinned. "Want me to show you?" BJ grinned and Hawkeye kissed him hard, laying down full length on top of BJ and grinding his hips against him. The younger doctor moaned and Hawkeye nibbled his neck. "I'll get you a bright red collar," Hawkeye teased.

"I already have dogtags."

"Then I'll just need a leash."

BJ chortled and ran his his hands up Hawkeye's back. "I was never very obedient."

"Then I guess training will take a little longer." Hawkeye kissed BJ again. "I better start right away."

BJ pulled him close.
