You meet her in the afterlife, in that little corner of it that's probably been reserved for people like you and her and him.
She scowls at you, and evidently she's not happy.
'Axel.' She frowns at you even deeper and frankly, you now she has full right to.
'Larxene.' You continue, hoping maybe she'll forgive you just a little. 'I'm sorr—'
'Save it.' She turns away, expecting you to follow. 'There's someone who you should really say sorry to.'
You follow her through the streets until you finally arrive at a little black house with flowers outside. Those alone should be enough to tip you off, but it doesn't and you keep on trying to guess who could be there.
She opens the door and all of a sudden you know who it is from the interior's white walls and white floors and white vases with white flowers in them.
'Marluxia's here, isn't he?' you say, hoping you're wrong.
Larxene looks back at you, unfazed. 'Yes. And you owe him an apology.'
'Why?'
'You did get him killed, you know.'
'What about Vexen? Marluxia got him killed, didn't he?'
'He apologized the first time he saw Vexen. It's your turn now.'
Larxene pushes you up the (white) stairs, until you finally get to a (white) door. She knocks on the door, saying, 'Mar, it's Larx. Axel's here too,' before tapping it with a knife. It opens with a distinct 'chink' sound, and Larxene shoves you in the room before coming in herself. She taps the hooded figure on the shoulder. 'I brought someone to see you.'
The person on the bed raises his head and the hood falls back. Marluxia stares at you dazed, until he finally recognizes you.
'Axel,' he hisses. He gets up from the bed and stalks towards you. 'You…how could you? I trusted you, dammit!' Marluxia collapses against you. 'How could you…?' and by then you know that it's not so much the fact that he was mad at you, more the fact that he misses you.
So you smile and pat him on the head and it's all don't worry, it'll be alright, but you're really thinking it completely different.
Because right now they may be a little less sad and you might've been forgiven for something you did earlier, but really---
