A/N: Set after Hogwarts, around three years after the Second Wizarding War.
So Many Ways to Fly
"Here, hold my hand."
"How am I supposed to kick off from a broom if I'm busy holding your hand?"
"Hold on to your broom with your right hand and take mine with the left, Ginny. You'll be fine, I promise."
"It's my first time in the air after three years and you already want me performing tricks?!"
"Ginny. Do you trust me?"
She glared at him just then and he raised his eyebrows in question.
"Well, I'd usually say something sickeningly sweet but my brain can't formulate an answer when it's paralysed with fear."
Harry snorted, trying very hard to conceal his laughter.
"Okay then. How about you ride on my broom with me?"
Harry's comment made her sit down in surrender and he sighed.
"Now what did I say wrong?"
"Harry James Potter, do you really want me to say it out loud?"
"Say what?" A crease formed between his eyebrows, and Ginny couldn't resist.
She threaded her fingers through his and pulled him closer, kissing him gently on his forehead and nose. His eyes closed with pleasure and she grinned, enveloping his lips with hers.
"Hey, baby," she whispered against his lips, her cool breath misting in the freezing night.
"How about we abandon this plan to fly, and…" she trailed off suggestively, unconsciously tugging on her lower lip with her teeth and his grip on her only tightened.
Harry pulled her in even closer to him and suddenly they were touching everywhere. The arms on his hands raised as he felt the curve of her body against his firm one and let out a groan.
"I'll take that as a yes," Ginny breathed huskily.
Harry left her hands then only to run his hands slowly through her hair, enjoying the feel of the silky strands as they danced through his palms. His hands travelled down her neck and arms to her waist, moving painstakingly slowly.
"Harry!" Ginny gasped as he suddenly lifted her in the air, nibbling her earlobe as he did so.
"Ginny," he responded, smiling mischievously. "Let me show you a good time, sweetheart."
