Alright so this is the first one-shot (: I hope you like it and this is only my second fanfic by the way. ENJOY!

-EPOV-

"Edward!" a high silvery voice yelled from downstairs.

"You don't need to yell, Alice. I'm only up stairs" I muttered, placing the thick book that I had been reading back in its rightful place among Carlisle's library.

"Come quick!" she almost squealed.

He has to come see this. I can't wait to see the look on his face! I heard Alice think in excitement.

Scanning through the other minds in the room downstairs, I came across one that was slightly off, blurry and slurred sort of. 'Odd,' I thought to myself in confusion.

Then I also heard Rosalie "He's gonna be SO dead when Esme comes home and sees him like this." I heard a couple of giggles and laughter.

I was down the stairs in a split second.

"What's goi-" but I stopped in my tracks to see Alice, Jasper, Rosalie and Bella all crowded around Emmett.

I moved to stand next to Bella, putting my arm around her waist to see what all the fuss was about. Then I realised, and my mouth turned into a thin line, suppressing back my own laughter. There Emmett sat on the couch, cross eyed and swaying slightly a bottle in his left hand. His eyes focused on me as I laughed and Bella giggled beside be.

A very tipsy Emmett stood up and staggered forward while everyone took a step back.

"Eddie bro!! You missed the partay!" he bellowed, his voice slurred. "But then again you were probably having fun with this chick!" he grinned oddly and waggled his black eyebrows at Bella beside me. I tightened my arm around her and frowned at my brother.

"You're such a virgin," he giggled "Rosie and I on the other hand, well that's a different story" he stumbled towards Rosalie and tried to embrace her. But Rosalie pushed him back wrinkling her nose.

"Well it seems that you're not getting any tonight, Em" Jasper smirked and we all laughed.

"Not in that state. You stink of alcohol" Rosalie said in disgust "What did you drink, the entire cellar?"

Emmett just burst into a fit of hysterical giggles, and then took off into a distorted chorus of Brittany Spears – Circus.

"What are we going to do about him for when Carlisle and Esme get home?" Bella asked, watching Emmett, she just raised her eyebrows.

"I don't know, hopefully the effects will wear off soon" I shrugged and Jasper grinned.

"I don't. I want to see more of this Emmett. I mean how often you get to see him sing Brittany Spears and "he looked over to see what he was doing now "Wiggle his bum in Rose's face and dance on the table?"

Suddenly there was a hiccup and a loud thud and everyone's head whipped their heads around to see Emmett lying on the floor giggling again.

"Well at least we know that vampire's can't pass out. That's one consequence that he won't have to suffer" Alice said as everyone stood around Emmett, peering down at him.

"Yeah but he's going to get a lot of consequences and lot's more suffering when Esme and Carlisle get home"
