One of the Shadow Triad sighed, "Might as well show you the Purrlion. It had no purpose anyways." He said and got out a Pokeball.
Hugh, in front of the Shadow Triad person, eyes widened as he saw the light of Pokeball as the Pokemon came out. The elegant Liepard came out, jumping out of the Pokeball and glared daggers at Hugh.
Hugh's mind was spinning, he felt hot tears about the fall from his eyes. He wiped them away with the sleeve of his jacket. "I..." He started out.
On the other side of the room, Kyohei stared. His fist was clenched, the Shadow Triad person was doing this on purpose. "Hey..." The brown haired trainer started, clenching his jaw. But the two people in the room paid no attention to him.
If the black mask wasn't covering the Shadow Triad person mouth, Kyohei was sure he would be smirking.
The male turned to him, his steely grey eyes focusing on Kyohei. The Shadow Triad person spoke, "To stop you from ruining Lord Ghetis plans, I have to battle you."
Kyohei kept a firm gaze at him and nodded, taking out his Pokeball. "Alright." Kyohei simply said. Though he looked strong, Kyohei was worried of his childhood friend who was an emotional mess right now- just staring at the grown Purrlion that was now a Liepard. He frowned and sent out his Samurott as his battle started.
After fighting the the three Shadow's of Team Plasma and disappeared, Kyohei walked towards Hugh who was shaking. He bit his lip and recalled what Hugh's mom said to him back when he first started his journey
"Hey, Kyohei. Do me a favor, when Hugh falls into his rage- please be there to pull him back up."
Kyohei had promised Hugh's mom that he would and the sight of him best friend just there frightened him. He had never seen him like this, Hugh was the strong one- the one who always encouraged Kyohei back up when he failed. That's exactly why Kyohei started falling for the boy.
"Hey Hugh. It's alright." Kyohei whispered, his voice straining and knelt down besides the sitting boy. Kyohei glanced at the Liepard who was growling but it seemed confused now.
Hugh said nothing but just shook his head and Kyohei bit harder on his own lip. The boy scooted closer to Hugh and grabbed his hand, squeezing it gently. Hugh seemed a little shocked but a ghost of a smile formed on his lips.
"Go save Unova." Hugh said strongly and gazed into Kyohei's warm brown eyes. Kyohei nodded, smiling and stood up.
But before walking to where the stairs would lead him, he looked back at Hugh.
"I love you." He whispered faintly and walked down the stairs.
A/N: You could also replaced Mei/Rosa with Kyohei/Nate's name! It doesn't really matter but I wanted to write for Kyohei and Hugh, seeing how I wrote a little short drabble for Rosa/Mei and Curtis/Tetsu!
