The adventures of
Rainbow Magical Penguin!
#1
Swiftly, she darted into the igloo, drawing her breath and seizing her laptop. She typed something. (I don't know what she typed) but it was probably something significant. Her long swooping blonde hair was flung back by her dainty hands then she took off her rainbow penguin mask and became… Rosie. She was a normal teenager who was not popular or actually lame, just Rosie. As tall as a tree, Rosie. As defenceless as a bee, Rosie. Who would have thought it? Her pointed nose and bright blue eyes completed her regular image. "Multi is late…" An alarm went off, loud and clear. "Not again" she sighed and pulled on her black and white skin tight suit. Hurriedly, she pulled on her mask again; made her way to the door.
"MWHAHAHA!" screamed The Wicked White Polar Bear. He was wearing his statement scarf and a grey cape. As usual, he was trying to drain the entire colour out of Rainbow City. "Oh looks like your little bird isn't here to save you now!" There was a gust of wind and Rainbow Magical Penguin came waddling down a rainbow. (Let's call her Rosie for short). "Stop right there you chilly polar bear!" Rosie cried. The whole town chanted her hero's name. She zapped the polar bear with her multi coloured powers and sent him flying but little did she know that he had her sidekick, Multi coloured mutt, her rainbow Labrador dog. He yapped for help. "Multi!" screamed Rosie. The polar bear gave a sinister cackle. "You Monster!" she cried. "Hi Multi" called the polar bear mockingly. Rosie ended up lunging at her poor dog in a cage. Unfortunately, the polar bear's minions, Ted and Fred, got there first. Rosie kicked and screamed for all she was worth. It wasn't enough. They had picked her up and taken her away to their secret hideout.
A blurry image emerged from her eyes as she awoke from being knocked out on the way. It was a spacious cave with a batman style screen across the wall, a few sofas here and there and a flat screen television. The grey walls had black and white pictures hung up. To come to think of it, everything was black and white. Just as the polar bear liked. He sat down in a worn out black chair that smelt like pipe smoke. The polar bear got out a cigarette and some oil then he spilt the oil in Multi's cage. "Tell me who you are." Rosie shuddered. He lighted the cigarette. "DON'T! I am… Missy Fickle" she took a deep breath. The polar bear laughed and smoked the cigarette. "Lovely and where do you live?" "On Maisylee Road" she lied. "Good, now how much do you want to work for me?" Rosie shook in her ropes. She hadn't noticed that she was tied up. "Not much" The polar bear laughed then dropped a bomb that was counting down. "See if you can get out of this one, Missy or Rosie!" he sniggered as he left the room. Rosie was one step ahead of him. She used her free feet to grab a knife that Ted or Fred had dropped whilst they were walking out of the room. Success! She used her powers to use the knife to cut the rope. Then, she jumped up and zapped the cage with her melting powers. 10, 9, 8. She needed to act fast. 5, 4, 3. Just in time. She escaped from the room. As soon as she saw daylight, she started sprinting. Surprised, the polar bear looked back to find Rosie, smiling at his white, shocked face. ZAP! Rosie zapped colour on him as quick as a wink, punched him and then kicked him into space. "That's the last time he'll be coming to this town!" Ted and Fred and already fled the scene.
The crowd cheered for Rosie's arrival. "Rainbow Magical Penguin! And Multi Coloured Mutt too!" they lifted them up into the air and chucked them high into the sky. "HURRAH!" "Just a day's work" said Rosie and she disappeared into thin air and back into her warm cosy igloo. Now, where is that hot chocolate?
Inspired by my adopted penguin Willow. She will always be my animal hero!
