Visitation Rights

Fandom: Once Upon A Time
Pairing: Swan Queen/Remma (Emma Swan/Regina Mills)
Even with the life she had lead before Storybrook, Emma wouldn't have ever considered herself wild or spontaneous. At least, those weren't the words she would have chosen. She considered herself at one point more of a free spirit, someone who knew that life was short and things just happened, that there really was no room for regret when you could just do it all and take it off of your bucket list. Kissing a woman on Valentine's Day, Emma had to admit, was really spontaneous. And kissing the mayor, well...
It was just that Emma was so happy that Regina was allowing her to see Henry, even going so far as to 'take a call' so that Emma got an extra forty-five minutes with him. Granted, Regina was on the other side of Gran's, but she was far enough away that she couldn't hear what the boy said, nor could Emma pay close attention to what the darker woman was saying into her cellphone. Then, after Emma had walked them home and watched as Henry scurried inside, Regina offered more time with Henry. "Seeing as visitation with you is the only incentive I have to offer for his recent good behavior, I have no choice but to hold up my end of the bargain."
"You used me as a bargaining tool?" Emma asked before the mayor could get out another sentence.
"It looks like I have nothing else as far as Henrys concerned. So, what do you say? Saturdays are yours, with two afternoons but only if homework is light."
Emma stood, speechless for a moment, before she blurted out "y-Yes, gah! Yes, I could- kiss you right now." She shook her head as she realized what she had said. "Well, you know what I meant-" There was a look on Regina's face that Emma couldn't decipher though. It was a strange mix between confusion and amusement, before it went to its usual smug expression that never failed to rile Emma. This time was no different, but the blonde did nothing more than to shift so that her posture mirrored Regina's. It was almost challenging, egging her on. And then, when the mayor took a step forward, she did as well until they millimeters away from touching chests.
It was Emma who leaned forward, although in hindsight, she couldn't say why. She just knew that the next moment Regina's lips were on hers, and her own hands couldn't find a place to stay upon Regina's body. She briefly felt fingers through her hair before the zipper to her jacket moved downward. Emma's breath caught when she felt Regina's hands at her sides, under her shirt and on her chest. Suddenly, the heat of Regina's body was gone as the shrill sound of her cellphone ripped through the bubble between them, and both women seemed to remember who - and where - they were. The mayor didn't even look at her cellphone's display before she disconnected the call and placed it back into her pocket. By then, the spell was gone. Regina's face had changed from what it had been right before she'd gotten her cellphone from her coat, and Emma was wrapping her arms around her waist as she looked up at Henry's window from where she stood on the sidewalk.
"Assuming you're sticking around, Saturdays and some weekday afternoons. We'll discuss details some other time." Regina wasn't looking at her now, as she used her fingertip to touch up her lipstick. Emma knew she had some of the same lipstick on her own lips, but she did nothing to rid herself of it. "Enjoy your Valentine's Day, Miss Swan," she said, and was gone, walking up the stairs to her emasculate home.
"Eh-" was all the blonde could say in response, but the door the Mills home was shut, and Emma found herself once again alone. Emma took in a deep breath and started to walk back to Gran's for a drink.
