Doctor Who-themed
Dear Amy,
Earlier, I was watching a rerun of Doctor Who and I realized that you just called him "Doctor Who" instead of referring to him as "The Doctor". I never bothered to correct you since it would take much of the viewing time. So, may I just remind you that we call him "The Doctor" and that when you come with me to Who Con, you won't get mugged. You're welcome.
It still kills me that you refer to the shows I enjoy the most as "cheap science fiction". As if Downton Abbey can bring down The Doctor and his companions.
Anyhow, I wrote to tell you that seeing River with the Doctor reminded me of her mother whose name is the same as yours. Therefore, if we are to bear overlords in the near future and one of them is female, I call dibs on naming our daughter Melody River.
