Okay, This is a oneshot, and I want you to know, I was forced into this. No, really. It was a project for school, 'defend a villian'. Who else better to play lawyer for then the 'Tron? But seriously, its painful.

Megatron - Bad 'bot or bad rap?

Everyone knows who Megatron is - The superbig, superbad supervillian from a different universe. But has this big guy gotten a bad reputation? Yep, he has. It can't be easy being a giant robot from a dying planet, and a leader of a humongous army. It may be too easy to misunderstand someone in that position. But it is a even easier to listen to what he has to say - even if he does have a giant cannon that can wipe you off the face of the Earth in one hit.

At thirty-six feet tall and almost six tons, Megatron is a formidable guy. And, being from another planet, where everyone and everything is a giant living and sentient machine, biological beings, such as us, are as alien to him as he is to us. Face it, us humans are usually about thirty feet smaller than him! To Megatron, we are just bugs. Well, sentient, large, annoying bugs. Come on, if you were a giant robot and came to a different planet just to find it inhabited by tiny beings that were biological, vurnerable, plus acted and did things that you had never even heard of before, you'd either be amazed or repulsed. Take your pick. Also, Megatron's brother, Optimus Prime, is not as much of an angel as everyone thinks. When they were 'younger', before the war had even began, Optimus Prime messed with Megatron's head. He tortured, teased and hurt Megatron, both emotionally and physically, until Megatron had a deep seeded hatred of anything and everyone associated with his brother, including the Autobots. So, after Optimus had finally made Megatron snap, it was easy to declare a war, pitting the Optimus Prime-led Autobots against the Megatron-led Decepticons. Finally, the last thing that makes Megatron so misunderstood is a simple but terminal glitch, like a disease for one of us humans. His glitch is unrepairable, and it makes him slightly insane, with a love of battling and war, and a degree of megalomaniacy.

So, as you can see, Megatron is not exactly the evil robot that we take him for. He is more of a tortured and maddened soul that just happens to be thirty-six feet tall. Maybe the next time you see him you should treat him with respect instead of shooting him with giant guns, shouting, and stomping or running around. He'll probably do the same.

Yeah. Riight. Reveiws apreciated!
