"Gina…" whispered the blonde, "Are you awake?" Regina shifted in bed.
"Barely" mumbled the brunette. Emma smiled wickedly.
"I got something important to tell you," Regina opened her heavy eyes and turned to stare at her girlfriend. "And that couldn't wait till tomorrow morning? You realize it is 2 a.m., dear?" Emma nodded. "What's going on?" asked the brunette with concern written on her face.
"I just…I" Emma shifted nervous.
"Stop mumbling and tell me, dear." Emma stared at Regina knowing she was going to get in a big trouble.
"I love…I" Regina's heart beating fast. "I love cheese!" said Emma laughing out loud. Regina's glare was one to capable to kill a person.
"Are you fucking kidding me, Emma Swan?!" Emma gulped. Regina wasn't the cursing type. "Did you just wake me for this?" Emma's eyes shifted to where her clothes were scattered, thinking about walking out of the room.
"I'm sorry? Gaaah, Gina, I couldn't resist. And I do love cheese!" The blonde whined.
"Get out of my bed this instant!" said the brunette furious.
"Excuse me but our bed. And are you serious?" Regina's eyes were shinning in fury. Yes, she was pretty serious thought Emma. "Come on, babe! It was a joke. You know…I do."
Regina huffed in annoyance she wasn't really mad but Emma was insufferable sometimes.
"Emma you know I have work early, and yet you do this? You are definitely a child!" Emma pouted. "Don't look at me like that. Ugh, you know I can't with those puppy eyes of yours." Emma leaned closer and hung herself as a koala in Regina's body.
"Actually, I do have something important to tell you," Regina rolled her eyes, "I do love cheese but not more than I love you." Emma's breath went through Regina's lips. Her heart was beating faster with every second that passed. It was the first time the blonde said those three words. The first time she felt her world collapsing in a storm of a new sentiment, happiness.
"You do?" asked shyly.
"I do. I do love you, Regina Mills." The brunette kissed her in a desperate manner. Stealing a moaning from the blonde, the kiss wasn't subtle or sweet. It was meaningful and deep.
"I love you too, you idiot of mine. I love you so much." Emma smiled broadly. "Now I would love to go back to sleep." Emma snorted.
"Just sleep?" Regina bit her lip smiling.
"Yes, darling. Tonight just sleep, but tomorrow I promise I'll show you just how much I love you." The brunette winked and stole a kiss from the blonde who by the way was with a frown.
"Oh come on! Gina!" Regina turned around and smiled ignoring her. "Babe? I want you." Regina was already fast asleep. Leaving a really frustrated blonde wide awake, "Jesus I can't believe it."
