Blizzard
Yuri - Son Of the North
Disclaimer: I own nothing!
Grey clouds blocked out the sun, as snow roared through the air, blanketing the city of Moscow in a slumbering white sheet. Not too many dared to venture out, as already a foot had accumulated in less then an hour, even with the raging wind forcing the snow to drift to different areas. Inside a cozy, rather large, apartment, a navy blue haired twenty six year old watched through a large window as the large waves of white flew by. Placing his cup of steaming hot chocolate onto a nearby coffee table, he turned stormy colored eyes onto a dual haired male, who was just a year older.
"This stupid blizzard's going to keep us from being able to go to work," He whined, bottom lip brought down in a pout.
The other resident of the apartment sat down on the couch next to him, a cup of coffee in hand," Is that really a bad thing, Takao?"
Catching the glint of mirth in crimson eyes, as slate blue locks tried to hide it, Takao gave a slight smile, catching onto what his boyfriend was thinking," Well, aside from not being able to make some more money to support your expensive taste, I guess it isn't that bad…"
"Be thankful the electricity is still working, too, or else we'd have no heat," Kai commented, remembering past experiences.
"I don't think I'd really care," Takao spoke back, snuggling up against the bluenette," You'd be able to keep me warm."
"Yeah, along with my coffee I'm about to spill on you," Kai said, a slight smile gracing his lips, as he set his coffee on the same table Takao's hot chocolate was on.
Takao's eyes dimmed down to an apologetic look," Sorry."
Kai wrapped an arm around the smaller male's shoulders," Don't be. If it would've spilled, I at least would have had another reason to buy a new carpet," he then set a gentle kiss on the top of Takao's head.
"True, hopefully it wouldn't be white, it's so hard to keep a carpet that color clean…"
The two chuckled for a moment, before settling in for a late morning nap. Kai leaned against the arm of the couch, while Taka rested his head on the older males shoulder, letting out a contented sigh. A comfortable silence settled over the apartment, before the sudden noise of the heater stopping, and all of the lights turning off abruptly ran through the building.
"Should've expected that..." Kai muttered, not even bothering to open his eyes.
A few minutes went by, before a small voice spoke," Kai, I'm cold…"
End Take (The End)
A/N: Ok, ok, I know, this was really pointless! But at the moment I'm snowed into my house, so the thought came to me, so I had to type it up! xD;; Anyways, I love Takao and Kai... -dreamy sigh-
Toodles for now!
