Vegeta from the anime series, Dragon Ball Z, and Yasha from the video game, Asura's Wrath are characters that if anyone can think they're different, they're also quite alike.
For example, they both are elite in their respective races; Saiyan and demigod. They're both calm, dark characters, and spend half the time as antagonists, but the other half the time as protagonists. They're both loners and have serious problems with their bosses; Vegeta has problems with Frieza because he destroys planets, including Planet Vegeta, while Yasha has problems with Deus because he attempts to destroy innocents for his goal of a new world. Frieza and Deus are so genocidal and much powerful, even Vegeta and Yasha are good at what they did. They both live in Earth.
Of course, they have differences, such as Vegeta's goal is to surpass Goku and defeat him while Yasha's goal is to restore peace to his world. Vegeta uses ki in battle, but Yasha uses energy. Vegeta is seven hundred thirty-two years old whereas Yasha is around twelve thousand years old. The former has royal blood while the latter is non-royal blood, and Vegeta's Saiyan family is dead but has a new family in Earth, while Yasha's demigod family is alive through reincarnation.
As you can see, Vegeta and Yasha are alike and different in many ways, but for me, they're mostly alike. It makes me wonder if Capcom, Yasha's creator, tried to get ideas of Yasha from Vegeta, whose creator is Akira Toriyama. Who knows? Maybe. Vegeta's relationships with Bulma, Bulla, and Goku can be compared to Yasha's relationships with Durga, Mithra, and Asura. These are characters from the anime I love, Dragon Ball Z, and the game I love, Asura's Wrath. They're alike and different in many ways.
