The Beast
"Daddy…?" Four year old Victoire climbed onto her father's lap.
"Yes, Vic?" Bill put down his paperwork and set her facing him.
Vic was his Little Princess, as Dommie was his Doll, and Louis was his Little Monsieur.
"I can't go to sleep. Dommie keeps breathing so loud!" Dom and Vic had kept separate rooms, but Fleur's family had been staying for the summer, which caused the two to share Dom's room. They got along fine, but at night, they had different routines to go to sleep.
"I'm sorry, Princess," Bill cuddled her. "You only have three more nights with her."
"But Daddy… She's superfluously loud. Louder than Baby Louis' cries! I can't count sheep, I can't read my book, I can't think straight!" Vic's vocabulary was almost astounding to Bill sometimes. She was such the smart little girl, he was continuously proud and amazed of her.
"Awe, would you like to read your book out here with me?" Bill asked. It wasn't a real book, just a book with pictures and small words.
"Yes, Daddy. I would." She stated a matter-of-factly as she climbed from his lap. She strutted her tiny self to Dom's room.
A few minutes later, Vic arrived back to her father with her book.
"Help me up, Daddy." Vic smacked the sofa's cushion. Bill lifted her to sit on his lap.
"What's your book called?" Bill asked.
"Little Red Ridinghood." She cooed.
"May I read it to you?"
"Yes please, Daddy."
"… Then the Grandmother, Red and the Lumberjack lived happily ever after." Bill whispered in his 'storytelling voice'.
"Daddy?"
"Yes, Pumpkin?"
"Why do you have that boo-boo?" Vic whispered in his ear. Bill gave a light smile and adjusted her to eye-length.
"Well, when I was… younger, I helped guard the Hogwarts Castle from the bad guys that your Uncle Ron and Uncle Harry fight. And there was one special Werewolf named Fenrir Greyback who was very mean." Bill explained.
"Why was he so mean?" Vic asked.
Bill sighed. "Well, when I was guarding the Castle, Greyback the Werewolf attacked me. He mauled my face and gave me this boo-boo-… scar. At first, I was ashamed of the mark it made. But, Mummy and Gramsie helped me get better and now here I am."
"I sorry, Daddy." Vic frowned. Her big eyes twinkled in exhaustion.
"That's ok, love." He hugged her. "Are you tired yet?" He smiled. She rubbed her eyes.
"Umm… no, Daddy." She yawned.
"Oh yes you are. Let's get you back into bed, shall we?" Bill scooped her up and she giggled.
"Okay." Vic yawned once more.
Thank you for reading this. I have never written about Bill before, and I thought of how cute this would be. There aren't very many of these Father/Daughter fics and there should be. Anyways, I hope liked this. It might be considered Canon, if it must. Please review! All my love. xx
