A/N: Hey guys, another one-shot for you, inspired by the Unstoppable webisodes from season 10.

I DO NOT OWN DEGRASSI: THE NEXT GENERATION OR THE CHARACTERS.

I feel so exhilarated. I can't believe we actually won the power squad competition. I mean, seriously, half of us have never even danced before. We somehow managed to nail the routine when it mattered. Never in a million years would I ever think that I would have a chance in a dancing competition. The fates seemed to work with me today.

It was a nice distraction – especially after everything that's been going on with Eli. The crash rattled me. I really haven't been able to think about much else, until yesterday. The girls were great with giving me something else to focus on. Now, of course, my mind's in overdrive. My distraction is gone.

I hit the floor – hard. I looked up, confused. I just ran into Owen. I scrambled up to pick up my things. He offered me a hand. I accepted it, gratefully.

"Thank you. I'm so sorry. I wasn't even looking where I was going." I apologized. He smiled.

"I didn't know you were on the power squad until today." He mused. I fidgeted nervously with my fingers.

"I wasn't really, until yesterday. I'm just filling in. A lot of us were only filling in, actually. Half the girls managed to catch mono." I explained. He nodded but didn't seem too interested in what I was telling him.

"The blue in the apron really brings out your eyes." He told me, smiling. I blushed and looked away.

"Thank you."

"You're so cute when you blush." He continued. I looked up at him, unsure of what to say. "Are you and that emo kid really over? I heard how crazy he went with Fitz. I'm not looking for that kind of drama."

"What are you looking for?" I struggled to ask.

"I'm looking for a pretty girl, like you." He studied my face for my reaction.

"I just got out of an intense relationship." I told him, honestly. "I'm not looking to just jump into something."

"Who said anything about a relationship? I want to spend some time with a pretty girl. I find you attractive – very attractive – that's all. I'm not looking for something serious. We can hang out and take it from there. What do you say?" He offered.

"Hang out as friends? Just friends?" I asked.

"Flirty friends?" He tried. I bit my lip. He's barely spoken a word to me before. And he was a complete jerk to Alli on Vegas night. What harm could hanging out with him do? I mean, people change. Fitz changed. Maybe he deserves a chance. Especially, if it's just as friends… "If you happen to fall for me and change your mind, all the better." He smiled.

"Alright, as friends." I agreed.

"Wanna go for coffee?" He offered. I nodded.

"Sure. The Dot?"

"Let's go." He held out his hand. I accepted it and we walked out of the gym. I have a good feeling about today. Things are starting to look up.
