Chapter 1:
The world was silent; everything seems to have become still, everyone stood holding their breath. It was as if anything moved, the peace would break into chaos again. It took time for everyone to realise, for the fact to sink in everyone's mind: the fourth war had ended.
The sun rose slowly, spreading its warmth to every living being in sight, slowly bring everything to live. No one had yet noticed the absence of team seven members or battle that had taken place in the valley of end between the old rivals, Naruto and Sasuke. The wind blow gently, waking up Sasuke.
"You finally opened your eyes" a chuckle escaped Naruto's. Despite the pain shooting through his body, Sasuke turned to face Naruto looking shocked at the fact they were still alive."Sasuke, admit it, I won this time" Naruto smiled at Sasuke and turned to look up at the sky. Lost for words Sasuke looked at the sky and it had never seemed so clear, so peaceful.
"Ah, I lost" "Ha, took you long too long idiot" "Shut up idiot" "HEY! WHO YOU CALLING AN IDIOT" Naruto turned to Sasuke only to witness tears falling from his eyes. He hadn't noticed his own tears falling to the ground. "We have lost too much blood, we will die here" The pair stayed quite observing the sky, lost in their own thoughts, but smiling once in a while at each other as if they acknowledge each other company. Slowly their world became dark and they stayed wandering if this really is the end.
At the battlefield, injured shinobis were being attended by medics, other either check the battlefield to see anyone alive or rested and took the moment to stretch. "We should get everyone slowly back to the village, they need proper medical attention" Tsunade spoke, looking at the devastation the war had created. "I suggest we start moving now then, everyone has limited chakra left" Shikamaru surveyed the area looking for any signs of danger, Ino and Choji right besides him."We are missing the whole team seven" "I know, Kakashi should be with them so we can rest assured. Gather the injured shinobis with the ones who have enough chakra to travel to the village"
Everything moved into action, leaving the place behind and heading home, with pain in their body but peace on their minds.
AN: Hello, this is my first time writing so please bear with my mistakes. Any comments are welcomed and this is just a preview type of chapter so rest assure. I do take time to perfect my writing so the updates may take time. But hope you enjoy reading this, as much as I enjoy writing.
