Wrong Pharaoh

Yugi fell to his knees crying and shaking his head. "I-I'm sorry pharaoh…I-I wasn't able to f-free your soul I f-failed" He said between sobs. The teen rammed his fists onto the cold stone floor. "I wasn't s-strong enough!" He a cried in frustration until he felt a pair of arms wrap around his shoulders. "Yugi…don't cry, it's okay don't-"The all too familiar voice was cut off when Yugi turned to his yami with tear stained cheeks and a hazed look in his eyes. He growled before he said,"How can it be ok! You're stuck here for another 3,000 years! I wasn't strong enough and now…now…" Yugi looked away from his dark-half, "it's my fault." No one, not even the spirit of the puzzle, knew what to say to the sobbing hikari as the last tear fell to the floor. The doors to the afterlife slowly creaked open, catching everyone's attention. "Why have the door awakened?" Ishizu exclaimed. A white light shot out making everyone duck as it bounced off the walls searching for its target. Yugi's eyes widened as it headed for him. The light hit his yami who jumped in the way. "Yami," The tri-colored boy cried out. "I must take the losing soul," A god like voice called out. The light force Atem out off the way and surrounded the hikari. "Wha-"The light pulled Yugi through the door. "Yugi!" Was the last shout heard before the doors closed in Yami's way.
