Hey everyone I have made this sketch with my favorite DBZXSM pairings based on Pacific Rim as I am a big fan of that movie and in preparation for today the release of Pacific Rim Uprising I've been working on this. I hope all of you enjoy.

Tokyo Shatterdome
Within a large control room Hotaru came forth as she was surrounded by a section full of space aged and futuristic technology that only the budget of the entire worlds nations could afford. She stood infront of a circular screen with lines, words, and dots but behind that screen was a large window wide enough for her to witness the giant robots called Jaegers readying for her command.
"Alright everybody we've got a triple event three category 4 Kaiju emerging from the Breach heading towards Tokyo. Prepare to Launch." Hotaru had annouced.
She then set her sights on one of the stationed Jaegers.
"Trunks, Usagi are you ready to drift?" Hotaru informed.
Within that Jaeger was Trunks and Usagi dressed up in their pilot gear with the helmet and the suits while being connected with motion controls in order to pilot the giant humanoid machine.
"Crescent Slasher is ready to Drift." Usagi Replied.
"Let's do this." Trunks followed confidently.
Hotaru then called to the next Jaeger. "Makoto, Tien are you both ready?"
Inside the head of a different Jaeger there Tien and Makoto were positioned for preparation.
"Trigon Lightening is at the ready." Tien responded.
"Go for it Hotaru." Makoto agreed.
The next Jaeger presented Hotaru informed of their set.
"Ami and Yamcha are you set to go?"
With the blue haired senshi and her scarred martial artist partner beside her all ready to initiate they answered back.
"Aqua Howling is in our control." Ami said.
Yamcha with a strong grin across his face and a body languages that is itching for a fight he added with strong confidence.
"You bet let's bust some Giant Monster skulls!"
Returning to Hotaru in the control room she observed all three then further instructed.
"Alright everyone engaging connection, Crescent Slasher Neural Handshake on my mark."
Trunks and Usagi's Jaegar was the first to start as they stood inside the control head.
Hotaru began the countdown.
"Starting in 5...4...3...2..1."
Trunks and Usagi's eyes closed as they prepare for the machine to put both of them into the drift. The drift was a form of mind melding technology where both pilots would share both of their memories and allow each of their entire individual thoughts become one. This was the safest way to control the whole giant robot without dangers from the past failed attempts.
When the sounds of the machine attached to both the saiyan warrior and the princess of the moon was heard raising up suddenly out of nowhere the entire system just simply shut down with no further signs of activation of the drift.
Trunks and Usagi stood there for abit waiting until a minute past then they realized nothing was going on any further.
"Um Hotaru what just happened?" Usagi wondered as she questioned.
Back to the control room with Hotaru she nervously sweatdrops, she then replies in an embarrassing tone.
"I uh don't know it must be a malfunction."
"Hey why not try ours I'm sure we'll work?" Yamcha called.
Ami and Yamcha now have their eyes closed as they ready for their drift.
Hotaru then put Ami and Yamcha's Jaeger into focus.
"Okay then Aqua Howling let's drift you two on my mark. In 5...4...3...2..1."
Sounds of machinery engines ran for a couple of seconds but like the previous Jaeger the system suddenly shuts down.
Ami observed the equipment around her trying to find out what was wrong before answering Hotaru through the communications.
"What the heck? Our Jaeger shut down as well. Hotaru is there a technical issue that we missed or something?"
Returning to Hotaru in the control room. She is still sweatdropping over the unresolved problem.
"I'll call for support on that sorry guys."
"How about our Jaeger we should be able to work right?"
Tien Shinhan Wanted to give him and his copilot Makoto a shot so he ask Hotaru to try out theirs.
Hotaru immediately agreed and commanded them. "Alright Trigon Lightning let's see if your Jaeger is working properly."
Tien and Makoto closed their eyes and prepared their attempt to drift.
Hotaru then did the countdown.
On my mark in 5...4...3...2..1.
Like the Jaegers before theirs the system was working and the connection seemed to be successful for a few seconds but as with the first two those seconds unfortunately died out quickly and the machine just didn't progress any further than the two could have hoped.
Makoto was just as confused and upset as the rest. "What gives? Our Jaeger shouldn't be down like that."
Hotaru in the control panel still can't keep a straight face then answers with what she could.
"I'm sorry guys I don't know what's going on it just seems like your Jaegers are just not working."
Transitioning to Crescent Slasher the pilot Trunks tried to solve the problem by pressing around some buttons looking for a way to overide the controls or atleast find something that will lead.
"Our Jaeger should've been able to work I mean we're perfectly drift compatible." Trunks wondered.
Yamcha is heard giggling which in turn quickly caught the attention of the blonde and lavender haired pairing who could easily hear him through the reciever.
"Hey what are you laughing about?" Usagi asked with a rather questioning tone.
Return focus on Yamcha and Ami's Aqua Howling.
"I just thought is was funny how you say you're drift compatible even though we know you're not." Yamcha humored.
Back to Crescent Slasher Trunks didn't seem to take the black haired pilot of Aqua Howlings' comment well. "What are you talking about we are drift compatible."
"Really? Well I'm just not seeing it with you two. I don't get why everyone likes you two together all I see is a princess leader of the group and likes to eat alot and a traumatized purple haired guy with a sword. Usagi is clearly better off drifting with her past boyfriend Mamoru." Yamcha belittled.
This time inside the head of Trunks Jaeger he was having an angry face and started yelling back in denial. "Hey I can compare with Mamoru. He had purple hair too, or atleast I think he did at one point."
"As barely as you being a Prince." Tien stepped in and added which made his partner Makoto laugh.
"Hey just cause I'm not a prince doesn't mean I can't compete with Mamoru." Trunks shot back.
"What about you two huh! What makes you think you're drift compatible?" Usagi went on to Tien and Makoto.
Makoto defended without hesitation. "That's easy. Tien and I are both headstrong plus we love doing our martial arts."
"I like her tough attitude as well, she reminds me alot of Launche." Tien brought in.
"Yeah good point but I still see abit of a problem with you two together." Usagi smartly countered.
"What? There is no problem we work well together." Tien Disagreed.
"Sorry to tell you this but compared to Makoto's past run in with guys you really can't give them a run for their money." Usagi struck down. Yamcha can be heard laughing through both Crescent Slasher and Trigon Lightnings telecoms.
"Hey that's not true don't say that about Tien." Makoto denied.
Usagi further pushed. "Come on does he really have the looks at all I mean he's like the least attractive one here plus he's got no hair and that third eye is just in the way. Honestly you could just borrow my Trunks and your Jaeger would actually work."
"Can't disagree with that." Trunks smiled.
Back to Tien and Makoto's Jaeger. Makoto is blushing as she tries to respond. "Well...Yeah but..ummm..I mean."
Tien reacts humourously and sounds like he's about to whine. "Come on Makoto don't think like that."
Makoto lost her cool. "I'm sorry Tien but I just can't help it."
Tien tried to speak. "Please it's not all that bad. There's nothing wrong with being bald and what's wrong with my third eye."
Makoto reacts quickly out of humiliation and tries to calm down Tien."Nothing! Nothings wrong with having a third eye!"
"Except for when your children become Triclops." Yamcha gave out.
Now within Tien and Makoto's Jaeger head where they both reply with angry attitudes. "Hey shut up that's none of your business!"
Tien then decided to question him."Besides why are you two together anyway!"
"Wait what? Oh...well that's ah easy." Yamcha seems hesitant as he tries to answer.
"Hey Ami perhaps you can explain why you two drift so well together." Returning to Crescent Slasher Trunks asks in order to put Yamcha further in a corner.
"I actually don't even know why I am with him to be perfectly honest." Ami admitted effortlessly.
Back at the Jaeger Trigon Lightning Makoto answers."I'll tell you why it's because he benefits much more from you than you do from him."
"Yamcha's always looking out for a Bulma 2.0 of course it had to be you since you fit the description of blue haired genius minus the attitude." Tien explained putting Yamcha down.
"Wow I really am not drift compatible with him." Ami didn't bother disagreeing.
"No Ami don't believe them that's a lie. I'm a handsome young man atleast right?" Yamcha attempts to persuade.
"Atleast we can agree you and I are both much more attractive than Tien is." Trunks added trying to still dent Tien and Makoto's pairing.
"Really I'm not attractive well atleast we still have more drift compatibility than you two do!" Tien shot back.
Returning to Hotaru in the control room. She was not very happy with what is going on with her friends and hoped to get all of them to quit their bickering. "Guys come on there's three Kaiju heading towards Tokyo as you're arguing. Can't we please atleast try to focus on getting your robots to work."
Just then Android 17 enters the control room.
"Hey babe what's going on?" He asks.
Hotaru responds in a rather unfocused and dissappointed manner. "Oh hey Lapis. Everybody is getting mad at eachother over not being drift compatible."
Just by hearing the news his girlfriend said Android 17 immediately laughed. "Hahahaha! About time someone or something notices!"
Trunks was not taking his nonsensed as he gave Android 17 his attention. "Easy for you to say Android or Cyborg or whatever you're called now why don't you come up here and try to drift with Hotaru if you think you're so good at it."
Hotaru gives off a humilated espression then silently speaks not wanting anyone to hear her. "Leave my relationship out of this."
Android 17 didn't budge and inch at Trunks' challenge as he answered back. "Of course obviously since Hotaru and I are both part machine and I think "those" giant machines there will add to our nature better than all six of you combined."
Inside their robot Crescent Slasher it remains quiet for a few seconds.
"I...cannot disagree with that. Damn it!" Trunks just realized he was caught there.
Tien came in. "Don't be jealous just because your worst enemy has much better drift compatibility with Hotaru than you do to Usagi."
"Oh yeah well you're so undrift compatible that we would feel more connection watching a video of putting two legos together!" Trunks countered with a joke.
"You're so undrift compatible that when you two walk into a flower store, the florist sees Trunks then he'll tell Usagi no refunds!" Makoto joked back back.
Getting more ill tempered Trunks gave out another. "Alright you're so undrift compatible that you two should be the next Prince and Princess of the Moon!"
Tien said in surprise. "Well that's an awfully nice offer for you guys to...
"So that Beryl and Nellenhia would have a reason not to be jealous and attack the Kingdom." Immediate return to Usagi where she interrupts him and finishes what Trunks was bringing.
Makoto's expression then was taken back. "Well that's really harsh!"
Yamcha stepped in. "Hahahaha that's true and yet Trunks is still the 1/4th to zero Saiyan Prince Trunks over his Moon Queen so I don't see either of you guys doing well."
Usagi then aimed her jokes at Yamcha. "Oh shut it! You're so undrift compatible that the best use for you is making Ami's abilities taste good during meal time."
Yamcha has a confused expression. "What is that suppose to mean?"
"Check your name idiot." Makoto answered for him.
It took a couple of seconds for Yamcha to finally realize the joke from Trunks' girlfriend. "Grr! Oh yeah you want to make fun of my name like that huh! Here's one! You're so undrift compatible that talking about you two sounds more like advertisement for mens decorative swimwear."
Ami then realises something then decides to ask. "Wait a minute Trunks weren't you with Mai?"
Usagi questioned. "Who is Mai!?"
Trunks quickly calmed as he replied as if he has a secret. "Nobody dear."
"I've been hearing around that Trunks is in a relationship with someone named Mai." Ami said.
"In the version I heard she's older than your mom and you kissed her, this was back when you dyed your hair." Yamcha admittedly explained.
"We do not speak of that! Nothing happened my future didn't get destroyed, I never had blue hair, and I most certainly never dated that old woman. All of that was done by a competely different guy!" Trunks denied.
"Wait there's another guy like you that has blue hair?" Ami asked in astonishment.
Trunks expression gave out a schemelike tone. "Oh why yes but he doesn't just have blue hair like you practically his entire color pattern is matching blue as well. He's also the most perfect guy ever that can petty much do everything."
Usagi whispers."Hey Trunks how come you never talked to me about that other version of yourself?"
Trunks whispers back."Because he's either too good or too bad there is just no gray area with that guy."
Ami started to take a liking to the description of the said version of Trunks. "By any chance is he also a genius?"
Trunks easily answers without a care. "Considering he's also the son of my scientist mother but more importantly can pull out a bunch of random special feats. I'm sure he's got everything."
"I'm sorry Yamcha but I think I really need to fetch my soulmate." Ami confessed.
Inside the head of Aqua Howling the sounds of disengaging and unbuckling of electronics can be heard along with a door opening and closing.
Yamcha gives out a sad and defeated tone in his voice. "Wait Ami don't go! Dooohhhhnnnt gooooohohohohoooooo!"
"Don't worry Yamcha there's plenty of blue hair in the sea." Maokoto coldy joked.
Back at the control station with Hotaru and Android 17 all the young Sailor Senshi could do was unsuccessfully stare out at all of them going at eachother.
"You guys still can't drift in your Jaegers!" Yamcha yelled angrily.
"We can we just have to work it out." Trunks yelled back.
"Dream on we'll get our to work faster." Tien Challenged.
"Not with that drift compatibility you won't!" Usagi beat back.
"You're undrift compatible!" Makoto yelled in defiance.
"You're undrift compatible!" Trunks countered.
"You're undrift compatible!" Yamcha argued.
Hotaru was now acting downed and surrendered over the failure of the mission. "We are so doomed I can't believe we picked the wrong people for this."
"You know we still have that other new model Jaeger for back up. I can fetch the pilots." Android 17 brought up.
Hotaru replies in an immediate and annoyed attitude. "Do it."
Several hours have passed and in the Tokyo Shatterdome cafeteria the screen of a TV is turned on showing the news station.
The News Anchorman announced. "This just in not one, not two, but three Kaiju have just been defeated by none other than this remarkably new and amazing six armed Jaeger Lunar Primal. We have been told that the pilots of this giant robot are actually a family of six."
The screen then shows photos of the faces of each member of the Jaeger.
The Anchorman describes. "The pilots are named Bardock and Serenity the oldest of the team as well as the four most youngest pilots in the history of the Jaeger Program and their grandchildren Son Gohan and Tsukino Chibiusa along with Gohans little brother and Chibiusas little sister Son Goten and Tsukino Kousagi."
All seven of the group Usagi, Trunks, Tien, Makoto, Yamcha, Hotaru, and Android 17 stood looking up at the screen watching.
Tien then turned his attention to Usagi. "You know Usagi if you went with Goku and joined in with both of your families that thing would actually have eight arms." He explains.
"It's so true whahahahahahaaa!" Trunks starts humorously tearing up then starts running away leaving the area in saddness.
Usagi then had a thought come across her mind."That's not a bad idea however there was actually particular reason I had to be with Trunks. I wonder what was it I forgot."
News Anchorman then announced immediately something. "This just in we are recieving word that both young pilots Chibiusa and Kousagi have just dissappeared I repeat Chibiusa and Kousagi have just dissappeared."
Usagi then realizes and ends up with a dumbfounded expression across her face. "Oh yeah that's why."
