Hello FanFictioneers! I'm not really sure how to make an official authors note thingy so…this isn't a crossover it's a one-shot fiyeraba (as usual ) I don't own anything

Dorothy, Tinman, and Scarecrow were still shaken from their encounter with the Wicked Witch that afternoon. Dorothy slept the other two had no need for it.

"Listen, erm…, Tinman" the worn down scarecrow began, "I'm going to go for a walk….don't wait up, I'll be back before the girl wakes up" he said walking away into the forest near the portion of the YBR where they picked up the Tik-Tok man hours earlier.

'How about a little fire, Scarecrow?' Fiyero chuckled, that was just like his Elphie, He missed her, but every time they would reunite something would drag them apart, he wished he could have just an hour without having the worry or hassle.

He kept walking.

Thunder warned the straw-man that a storm was looming in on the previously cloudless sky, he sighed and decided to sit a while, the others wouldn't miss him.

And so Fiyero sat there; thinking. Thinking of those care-free days at Shiz, when he was 'the scandalicious winkie prince', and that night at the Oz Dust, and, perhaps the most painful of his memories, when Elphaba and him rescued the lion cub.

It wasn't until a hand smacked his leg that he realized there was someone sleeping under the tree. The exact someone he had been longing for. She looked peaceful, and beautiful, and Green. Her marvellous emerald skin that danced across her spiky features; softening them in the moonlight.

The rain spilled out of the clouds, Thunder hissed. Elphaba still slept. Fiyero didn't wish to wake her, especially when she looked happier than she had in weeks. He sat there and watched her sleep, when she shivered he wrapped his arms around her shoulders and held her close. She snuggled into his chest and cracked a sleepy smile. The Scarecrow and his Witch. Fiyero kissed her hair and shut his eyes, he drifted into a dreamy state of remembering his favourite moments at Shiz. It was the closest thing he had gotten to sleep in weeks.

The Prince woke up before the sun. Elphaba was gone. He sighed and figured she had fled upon realizing that the comfy straw pillow she had been cuddling was really a comfy straw-man. He stretched his clumsy arms up against the tree. Was that there before? No, surely I would have noticed it. He debated with himself for a while over something carved in the tree before finally turning around. He gasped. Carved into the massive Quoxwood tree was a heart, in it was: Elphie + Fiyero. Underneath it was the date. This was the clearing where they saved the lion cub. This was Their clearing.

In the distance a Lion roared.
