As per usual I don't own the SGU franchise, all credit for that goes to MGM and SyFy. May they bring back this show and let it be great again.
5 Things Destiny wanted to tell her crew
#1
She watched and was close to tears when they nearly starved to death, all they had to do was walk down the central corridor and they would find a cargo bay that ran almost half the length of the ship. There her builders left a ten year supply sufficient to keep a crew of eight hundred people well fed and happy.
#2
To stop trying to dial Earth, she tried time and time again to tell Dr. Rush that she wasn't capable of doing that anymore, she was just too old. All they had to do was dial the previous galaxies intergalactic gate and hop each galaxy one at a time to get back home.
#3
To stop abusing her FTL drives, when they were gone they were gone. She needed four hours to properly charge the drives between jumps, and needed to stay in FTL for at least two hours to cool them down enough to absorb the energy shockwave from the dropout.
#4
She had an automated repair program, but it was damaged when the Nak'ai first tried to attack hundreds of years before her current crew came aboard. All they had to do was bypass the main control conduit and dozens upon dozens of repair drones would fly forth from her lower cargo bays to fix her hull and various systems.
#5
She had uploaded the conciseness of the entire crew to her main memory arrays, each time a member stepped through the Stargate she would update the patterns in storage before transmitting them to their destination. She could restore Reily, as a hologram of course, and Franklin. She had also taken it upon herself to fix Dr Perry and Gin, but she was unable to tell Eli or Dr Rush to release them, this would also enable her to directly communicate of course. If only she could speak to them, if only.
