Prompt #85 - Regina teaching (or attempting to teach) Robin how to bake something

Hope you like it

Apple pie:

There are a few things in life Regina Mills truly loves, things she would never take for granted and forever will be thankful for, for as long as she lives.

One of them are the late mornings in bed with her thief, when they can simply bask in the warmth of the other's body after she's been awaked with kisses and caresses along her body.

Other, are the meals the family of four, Regina, Robin, Henry and Roland, share together, and their movie nights, when the kids talk their days away, telling their parents how was school and anything excited about their day or when she can enjoy being surrounded, in the comfort of their couch, by her favorite persons in the world.

All in all, they are the brunette's favorite moments.

Robin entered the kitchen to find his wife cutting apples against the counter, an absent-minded smile on her face. The blue-eyed man loved to watch her like this, with not a care in the world, probably thinking about their boys, or if he was really lucky, about him. To this day he had no idea what he had done to deserve such perfection in his life, but, whatever it was, he thanked the Gods above them for it, almost every single day of his life.

He tiptoed his way in her direction, involving her body with his arms from behind once he got to her, his head a comfortable weight in his wife's shoulder.

"What are you cocking, my love?" He kissed the side of her head quickly and rested his chin again in his previous position.

He felt her body move to accommodate his and a soft sigh of satisfaction leaving her nose, it made him smile a little more, the fact that she enjoyed his presence so much.

"Apple pie." Regina responded, keeping her task of cutting the red apples into small pieces. "I promised the kids I'd do them for desert tonight." She added.

"Oh." He hummed. "Were you thinking about them before I interrupt you?" He moved his hands to hers making her drop the knife and slice of apple she was currently cutting, turning her around in his arms, while the petite brunette's, went around his middle, making so they were securing each other. "You had this beautiful smile on your face."

That comment made her smile even more, a slight blush creeping its way into her cheeks, his compliments never ceased to make her heart skip a beat or two.

"I was thinking about them, yes." She said leaning forward to leave a small peek on his lips that she hadn't touched yet. "But I was thinking about you too." The brown-eyed woman continued. At his lift of eyebrows, she chuckled. "I was thinking of how I absolutely love those morning when I can stay in bed, in your arms, and how you always wake me up with kisses, and how that is absolutely amazing." She finished and he leaned forward capturing her lips in a more searing kiss. He nibbled on her bottom lip and she opened for him immediately, moaning slightly as his tongue swept her mouth, his hands were moving lower, into her ass and he squeezed lightly, making her glue her bottom half to his, sending shivers down the other's spine.

It was Regina the one to pull away first, remembering where they were and that their sons would be getting home sooner than later, they had no time for what they were both panting for.

"Later…" She whispered into his mouth. "After the kids go to bed..." The brunette continued. He was about to capture her lips again but she diverged away from his advance, smirking slightly upon seeing his pout.

"Would you like to help me with this pie?" She had already turned her back to him and he couldn't help the moan that escaped his mouth seeing her perfect round ass, he moved his hands there and she shook her body slightly.

"Behave." Regina was laughing, she loved how she could affect her husband, and the truth was, she was as affected by their make out session as he was.

"With you, never!" Robin kissed her cheek and moved to one of their kitchen drawers to get one knife. "So, cutting apples, easy." He was teasing her, when it came down to cooking he was a zero, even burning their toasts in the morning, and although it amused Regina and the boys to no end, he could truly use some tips in that department.

"Please follow my instructions, I don't want burnt apple pie in this house." She nudged him with her bun, playfully.

"Ahaha. Very funny, my love." He pulled a funny face. "I promise I'll stick to your teachings."

"Alright, keep cutting those into small pieces and I'll get the rest of the ingredients." The petite woman moved to the fridge and cabinets to collect all the things they would need to bake her famous recipe. Laying everything down on the counter.

"All down, love, and now?" Robin asked.

"Now, we prepare the pastry." She said reaching for one big bowl where they would mix the ingredients. "Pass me the flour, please." She putted her back on him to get a cup of water and when the brunette turned around she was met with a blow of the white powder in the face. She stood still in shock, eyes closed and mouth slightly open.

Landing the glass of water blindly on the table, she touched her eyes, trying to remove the flour from them. She opened her eyelids to face a laughing Robin, one hand on his stomach and the other on the flour sack.

"I can't believe you did that." She said sounding hurt. "I told you I was doing this for the boys and you go and try to ruin everything?" She diverged her eyes from him, facing the wall and crossing her arms. Robin's laughter died instantly and he was quick to reach her and to embrace her with his arms.

"I'm so sorry Regina, I didn't want to upset you, I was just kidding." He was trying to make her look at him, but failing, as her eyes was focused on something else. "I promise I'll do everything you say and as you say, love, please look at me."

Regina moved her head slowly and met his eyes, a smirk on her lips. "Everything?" She asked.

"Everything." He assured seriously.

"Stop being so gullible." With that she hit it with a hand full of floor across the face, quickly detangling herself from is arms and running in the opposite direction.

Her husband was quick to overcome the shock and rapidly started to go after her.

They were both in a game of chase when a cough made them aware of someone else's presence in the room.

Stopping their movements and looking to the kitchen door, the couple found both their sons with matching annoyed expressions on their faces.

"What are you doing?" Asked Henry, trying to sound serious, but failing.

Robin and Regina eyed each other, both their faces and hair were covered by flour, as well as the collar of their shirts, they had cheeks flushed and absolutely no rational excuse for what they were doing, beside 'playing chase in the kitchen'.

"Baking apple pie?" Their mother lifted her shoulders slightly, trying not to burst out laughing.

Henry rolled his eyes and Roland imitated his older brother.

"We'll be in our bedrooms doing homework." He said turning around to leave. "Please make sure you use clean flour on those apple pies." He teased.

"And make them extra yummy, mommy." Roland yelled already going up the stairs.

As soon as their sons were out of earshot, the couple burst in laughter.

Robin approached her and kissed her nose, caressing her cheeks with both hands.

"Let's go, we have pie to make." The blue-eyed man said peeking her lips lightly.

"And please behave, now." She said sending him a wink.

"I've said it before, milady, with you, never!"
