Love Under The Midnight Sun
It was a quiet afternoon in the Leaf Village as junior ninja Naruto Uzumaki began walking around just humming to himself. It was the middle of Spring but it was still quite brisk from the rain shower they got that night. He had grown a bit taller in the past two years. His hair was shorter, his clothing had changed from a heavy fur coat and pants, it was now a light coat with light pants, and his attitude changed a bit. As I was saying, Naruto was walking around when he heard a light sigh up ahead.
"Wonder what that was…." He said to himself. But he soon remembered what that noise was. It one of his best friends, Hinata Hyuga. She too had changed. She grew her hair out and changed her clothing. She was always shy and fainted often when she saw Naruto. He came around the corner to see her sitting by the fence with her eyes closed. He knelt down in front of her and she opened her eyes. "Hey Hinata, you okay?" He asked. She opened her eyes sharply to see Naruto looking at her. She turned red and fainted. She woke up to see Naruto cradling her head in his hands. Hinata slowly got up and onto her feet.
"Oh! N-n-Naruto! I-I I'm sorry I passed out again." She said stammering. "It's all right. Wanna go get some ramen?" Naruto asked. "Sure…" she said. They quickly walked to Ichiraku Ramen Bar since it was getting dark and they would be closing soon. They paid and took it to go. Night had come and they sat on a bench to eat their ramen and talk a while. No one was outside and nothing but lamps were burning to light the paths.
They were both getting tired and started falling asleep. Hinata laid her head on Naruto's shoulder and soon realized the position she was in. She straightened up and began looking at the ground. "Naruto?" she said. "Hmm?" he hummed. "I..I…I've been trying to tell you for years that I…I..I.." she stammered. Then she got up and said, "I'm sorry but I have to leave!" Then as she was walking away, she felt a tug on her arm and she soon was pulled into a tight kiss. She was surprised at first, but then began kissing him back. They were both blushing profusely and for what seemed like hours, they stopped and Naruto said, "I love you too Hinata." They both slept on that bench the night under the midnight sun. Her head on his shoulder, and his chin on her head. They were now in love. Hinata's life goal reached. And nothing would tear them apart.
