Problems
'Just five more minutes. That's all I need,' the tech turtle thought as he feverishly worked on the circuit board. It should only have taken him 20 minutes at most to fix the board, but he was going on his second hour!
Donatello sighed tiredly as he rubbed his eyes in frustration. He looked around the lab suspiciously, 'It's been quiet for a while now. Maybe a little too quiet. Maybe he got distracted by video games or the tv, or maybe Leo took him out running. Heh, yea; I would be so lucky.' He turned his attention back towards the device on his lab table. 'In any case, I'm almost done. I should be able to get this done if I can be left alone for another minute or two.'
Donny hunched over his project once more as he worked even faster to get it done. 'Almost. Almost!'
"Hey Donny!" a voice screeched right in his left ear which made him jump and sever a wire he was soldering into place. 'Oh how did I know I wasn't going to win this one?!' He almost whimpered as he glared back at his little brother. "Y. . .Yes. . .Mikey?" he said through clenched teeth.
"I got another joke for you! Oh man, you're gonna love this one! Okay okay!" Mikey bounced on his feet not even noticing the glare that his older brother was giving him. "What did one math book say to the other? Huh, huh?!" Mikey waited a few seconds until looking into his brother's 'tired' eyes. "I've got lots of problems!! Hahaha!!" he burst out laughing, slinging an arm around his brother's left shoulder. "Ain't that the best?!"
"I can relate Mikey," Donny ground out as he turned away from his brother to see if he could still salvage the circuit board.
Mikey just tilted his head, "Huh? I don't get it."
I'd like to thank my math teacher for this joke. When she first told this joke a couple weeks ago I immediately thought of this story. LOL! Makes me laugh every time I think about it. I would have had it up earlier but I got sick and school's been really busy lately. I wish I could call time out for about a week. XD Oh well. Oh, and don't worry. I'm still working on my other stories. I'm just so proud of myself. I finally wrote a story that's under 500 words!! This is a little over 300. A true oneshot! So proud right now! XDDD Have a great Halloween everyone!!
