A/N: I have a gazillion stories to write for competitions, so naturally I wrote this little pointless thing. Enjoy.

Rated: K, which you could tell by looking up, but whatever. I feel like adding this, okay? ;P

Terrified.

In this moment, there was no other word to describe you. Your entire body was chilled and you could feel the moisture dripping off of you. You clung onto the surface beneath you with all of your fragile strength, but you could feel yourself slowly slipping towards the edge.

Your deepest desire right now was for someone to reach out and grab you. You wished with all your might that someone would lift you up from this unstable ground and hold you close, gently soothing your fears of falling.

That would be the worse thing to happen to you; falling. You would descend slowly, feeling your fear spike until you couldn't stand it, before smashing into pieces and scattering across the land. Your internals would go everywhere and then be left to fade away over time, not being important enough to be given proper services.

The remains of your body would be dumped aside carelessly. They would rot in the dark place you've heard so much about, until someone came to take you to a new place, and then you'd be left alone again.

By now, you were on the very edge with half of your body already over the side. You were sure that this was your last moment of togetherness; of being complete.

Before you could fall to your everlasting doom, a warmth wrapped around you and dragged you back. You thanked everything you knew for your previously made wish being granted as you felt soft lips secure around you and drink in what you had to offer.

You didn't mind being used in this way – in fact, you rejoiced in it. Your very purpose in life was to hold the thing that could quench people from their thirst, so you were proud to fulfill your duty to the best of your ability.

After all, you were a very nice glass cup that deserved to be cherished.

Yes, this is written in the POV of a glass cup! Don't know why, but there it is...

Review for the sake of precious glass cups?
