A/N: Hello again guys HOLLOWTGH is back with another new story. Don't worry I won't be making anymore new ones but I'm in a mood to write a Pokemon fic. I wasn't sure if I wanted to have the main character Ash or bring in my OC Tony from my GoT fic (not as a god though a normal boy.) I decided to go for Tony as the starter Pokemon will not be Pikachu and I think that would rub some people the wrong way. This fic will start in Hoenn and Tonys starter will not be a starter Pokemon also Tony won't be catching hundreds of Pokemon as I would find it hard to incorperate them all into the story so it will be a select just 18 Pokemon (all already chosen.) Finally the pairing, I will be putting up a poll for the pairing after my GoT poll is over but just to warn you, one of the options will be a Pokemon (whom I was going to go for from the beginning but I thought I'd leave it up to all of you as I don't want to make people uncomfotable.) I'll let you all know when the poll is up. Also new trainers start at 16 in my story. Now lets get on with the story!

Chapter 1

The sun was rising over Littleroot Town in the Hoenn Reigon. Littleroot is a small Town in the south of Hoenn, but even though it is small it's very well known due to the fact that the best Pokemon Professor in the Hoenn Reigon lives here, the famous Professor Birch.

In one of the small houses in Littleroot, a young boy of 16 was just waking up. The boy had short yet slightly messy black hair, dark green eyes and an athletic body made mostly for swimming. This boys name is Tony and today he starts his Pokemon journey.

Tony has been eagerly waiting to start his journey for as long as he can remember, he dreams of being the absaloute best Pokemon trainer in the world and to beat all the Gym Leaders, Elite 4 and Champions in every Reigon, Hoenn, Kanto, Jhoto, Sinnho, Unova and Kalos.

Tony has planned for many years now which Pokemon he wants to capture, many trainers want to capture every Pokemon they encounter but Tony didn't want to neglect any of his Pokemon so, with great difficulty he narrowed the amount of Pokemon he'd capture down. He promised himself that he wouldn't capture more then 18 Pokemon as that way he could easily make 3 teams and alternate between his Pokemon, the only Pokemon he'd always keep with him is whichever Pokemon he'd get given today.

As Tony stired from his sleep he could smell of breakfast being made by his aunt. Tony had been living with his Aunt and Uncle since he was a baby after his parents died in a fire many years ago.

Tony got out of bed and went downstairs to have breakfast before getting ready to leave. As he entered the kitchen he saw his Aunt setting breakfast out on the kitchen table, his Aunt hears him enters and smiles at him "Good morning Tony, I was just about to call you down for breakfast, are you ready to start your journey today?" Tonys Aunt asks with a warm, motherly smile. Tonys Aunt and Uncle found out many years ago that his Aunt wouldn't be able to have children which sent his Aunt into a depression for a while. When Tonys parents died his Aunt and Uncle were the 1st to volenteer to adopt Tony and even though they insisted Tony call them "Uncle" and "Auntie" they still see him as their own son.

Tony smiled at his Aunt "Morning Auntie yeah I'm totally ready to start! I can't wait! Where's Uncle at?" Tony asks as he sits down to eat breakfast, Tonys Aunt sighs and answers "No he had to go to the lab early to get ready for you and the rest of the new trainers today. You know him always rushing about, didn't even stop to eat any of the breakfast I slaved all morning to make, what a terrible husband he is" she says in a fake sad voice but her eyes full of mirth showing that she wasn't serious making Tony laugh.

Whilst Tony and his Aunt eat breakfast he thinks about his Uncle Professor Birch. Professer Birch even though he is very busy being a Pokemon Professor always made time for his wife and nephew, the only time he isn't around is when the lab is extremly busy like on beginer trainer day where he usually misses breakfast much to his dismay.

Once Tony finished breakfast his Aunt sends him upstairs to have a shower and get dressed. Once he was ready he hugs and kisses his Aunt promising to come and say goodbye once he has his new Pokemon.

Tony walks for 5 minutes until he reaches the biggest building in Littlewood the Pokemon lab. He walks into the lab and sees one of his Uncles collegues who recognises Tony and tell him where his Uncle is. As he enters his Uncles main research room and sees his Uncle and 3 other teens, obviously here for the same reason as Tony.

Professor Birch sees his nephew and smiles at his approch, "Ah Tony there you are now we can begin. Welcome new trainers, if you don't know me I'm Professor Birch and you are all here for the same reason, to recive your Pokedex and starter Pokemon and to begin your journey to reach whatever goals you dream to achive." The 4 trainers smile at the Pokemon Professors speech.

Professor Birch then pushes a button on the podium next to him and 3 Pokeballs rise out of it, Tony and the other trainers look at the balls then look at each other as they all come to the same realization, 3 balls, 4 trainers, one of them wasn't getting a Pokemon. Professor Birch sees the looks on the trainers face and realizes what the problem is, he scratches the back of his head with a sheepish look on his face and says "Yes I'm sorry but I only have 3 starter Pokemon right now but next month I will have more so if one of you is willing to wait a month longer to start then I garentee you the 1st pick of the next batch next month."

Tony sees the apprehencive looks on his fellow beginners faces and makes a decision in his head, he could wait another month. "Don't worry Uncle, I'll wait until next month, at least this way I get to eat Aunties cooking some more huh?" Tony says with a sad smile on his face.

Professor Birch smiles sadly with a look of pride in his nephews selflesness when a thought comes to his head "It may be a bit unorthidox but knowing Tony I think he'll be happy with this." Birch smiles and says "I'm very proud of my Tony, I've just had an idea, go through to my study and wait for me there, once I'm done with the others I'll be in and we'll talk ok?" Tony nods at his Uncle and leaves for his study.

Tony waits in Birchs study for 45 minutes until he hears the door open, he sees his Uncle walk in with a Pokedex in one hand and a Pokeball in the other. Professor Birch sits down and says to his nephew "I'm very proud of you Tony for what you did out there. As I said an idea came to me, you see the other day I found a Pokemon that is quite rare to find and caught it and when you gave up the chance to start your journey today I decided that you would be the right person to rise this Pokemon. So if you're will to start with a different Pokemon then beginners usually start with you can begin your journey today as planned. What do you say?" Tony looks at his Uncle with wide eyes and instantly agreed with a smile on his face.

Professor Birch hands Tony the Pokeball and Pokedex and Tony releases the Pokemon inside to see what mystery Pokemon he had just been given. The Pokemon that was released had a small pure white body, with a green hair shaped like a dome on the top of its head and finally 2 red horn like things on its head. Tony recognized this Pokemon instantly as a Ralts.

The Ralts looked around confued for a few seconds until its eyes (which he assumed was hidden under the green hair) landed on Tony, Ralts tiled its head to the side and says its name "Ralts?" in a confused voice.

Tony thinking Ralts looks very cute kneels down to Ralts and says "Hey there Ralts I'm Tony. I'm just starting my Pokemon journey today and I was wondering if you would like to be my partner on my journey, what do you say?" Tony says as he reaches he hand out to Ralts.

Ralts looks at Tony for a few seconds longer and reaches one of its short arms out and places it in the palm of Tonys hand and says "Ralts!" with a smile on its face. Tony smiles back and grasps Ralts arm gently and gives it a small shake.

Tony stands back up and uses the Pokedex to find out more about Ralts.

Ralts The Feelings Pokemon

Psychic/Fairy type

Ralts senses the emotions of people using the horns on its head. This Pokémon rarely appears before people. But when it does, it draws closer if it senses that the person has a positive disposition.

This Ralts is Female and has the Ability Synchronize

Ralts knows the moves Reflect, Light Screen, Confusion and Calm Mind.

Tony looks and his Pokedex in shock, "Wow thats a strong move set for a beginner Pokemon, I've hit the jackpot with Ralts." Tony thinks to himself with a smile slowly growing on his face.

Tony looks down at Ralts and says "Alright Ralts you're really strong already! I know we'll become the best team in no time!" Ralts smiles at her new trainer and raises her arm in the air and shouts "RALTS!" enthusiasticlly.

Professor Birch watches the interaction between his neohew and his new Pokemon with a smile on his face, he knew he made the right decision giving Ralts to Tony. He couldn't help but this that these 2 were going to make waves in the next few years.

Tony grabs the Ralts Pokeball getting ready to return it when suddenly the ball gains a blue outline around it and floats out of Tonys hand and down to Ralts. Tony looks at Ralts with confusion and suddenly realization and says "You don't want to go back into you're ball do you Ralts?" Ralts shakes her head at Tony and Tony smiles down at her "Ok girl thats fine you can travel on my shoulder until you evolve then you can walk with me ok?" Ralts looks up at Tony with a smile and says "Ralts!" Tony reaches his arm down and lets Ralts climb up onto his shoulder.

Tony smiles at his Uncle and says "Thank you Uncle, I'm really happy to have Ralts, shall we go home so me you and Auntie can have a proper goodbye?" Professor Birch smiles and nods at his newphew and they leave to go home.

Once they arrive Tony introduces Ralts to his Aunt, who gushes over the cute Feelings Pokemon. After introductions Tony gets ready to leave on his journey, his Aunt start crying about "How her little boy has all grown up" all the while his Uncle standing next to her rubbing his back and trying to console her.

After he finishes packing, Tony hugs his Aunt and Uncle and has an emotional goodbye. Afterwards her turns to walk towards the edge of town. As he reaches the edge he looks at his new partner and says "You ready to begin Ralts?" Ralts looks back at Tony and says with determination "Ral-Ral-Ralts!" Tony chuckles and says "Alright lets go!"

Tonys journey is about to begin.
