Kaede: this is our first fanfiction~

It was just a fine 'night' for most of the ghouls except for Touka, who was feeling uneasy. She got a message from kaneki! Which says:

From: Kaneki ken

To: Kirishima touka

Um...Touka-chan, if you don't mind, can I make a request? Can I meet you privately at 12 o clock midnight? Please come to the park where we usually meet. This is something really important!

Touka wondered what he wanted to tell her at 12 o clock in the midnight and he sounded desperate too. At first she didn't want to go but in the end, she made up her mind and went to meet Kaneki.

She stood there, looking at the surroundings, the trees, the swings, the slides etc it looked like the park was deserted for a long time. A chilly breeze blew which made Touka's hair float on air. 'Why is he taking so long...' She thought. That instant, she caught someone staring at her, she turned at that 'person' and it was none other than Kaneki ken.

"Took you long enough." Touka said with a sigh, "and why are you staring at me kaneki?"

"N-No! Nothing!" He blushed, "it's just that you look really pretty today."

Touka widened her eyes a bit and blushed. She felt really happy for some reason.

"Um...Touka-chan?"

"H-Haii!"

Kaneki points at a bench and says, "can we sit there? I really wanna talk to you."

"O-Okay."

They both go sit on the bench but didn't talk for a while. The place was really silent.

Touka looked at Kaneki and sighed, "what did you want to tell me? I'll go back home if it's something stupid."

"That's mean Touka-chan." Kaneki sweatdropped.

"So what is it...?"

"Touka-chan, we have been friends for quite a long time a-and I really want to know more about you and your past life.." Kaneki gulped.

"..." Touka didn't answer.

"W-Would you m-m-mind telling me?" Kaneki stuttered.

Touka just sighed, she totally didn't know how to react. She didn't know whether to trust him or not.

"Touka-chan! I am not forcing you though! I am just interested to know more about you..."

"Interested? In what way?" She tilted her head to her right. "It's surprising to know that you're interested in me."

Kaneki blushed and replied, "err...I mean...I-I am curious! Yeah! I am just curious! Ahahaha-"

"If I tell you, Would it benefit me in any way?"

'What kind of a question is that..?' Kaneki thought. Well, all he could say was "I don't know."

Kaneki, you're so great.

"What if I didn't tell you? Would you mind?"

Kaneki thought for a while and replied, "I'll be straightforward with you, I would mind if you don't tell me because...you know, you're like one of my close friends..."

Touka was a little pissed off but she couldn't help but agree with what Kaneki said, he was one of her close/good friend too. She looked at the ground for a while, took a deep breath and looked at kaneki seriously, "I'll tell you."

Kaneki gulped and stared at her.

Touka started, "It was Me, Ayato and my dad. We used to live in the 20th ward. We blended in the human society by convincing ourselves to eat human food etc just to live our lives. I had so much of faith and confidence in my dad than Ayato. Ayato is someone who was really dear to me and I swore that I would protect him at any cost. I even promised that I would teach him many things as an elder sister..."Touka teared up a little but still continued, "well, one day..our precious dad was captured by the ghoul investigators. He never came back. Well, I still believed that he was alive and I Berated Ayato for thinking that he was killed."

"...I dunno what to say..."

Touka just smiled a little and continued, her beautiful eyes were filled with tear drops,"We went to Satou, there we were forced to eat human food and we were eventually sold out to those ghoul investigators. I wanted to protect Ayato. I unleashed my kagune for the first time and killed the ghoul investigators."

'Scary...' Kaneki thought.

"And then, we ran away from there! Far far away. After a few days, we found Anteiku. Yoshimura-san took good care of us. As we grew up, we acquired power. I was offered a school life and to repay Anteiku, I work as a waitress. I met my best friend yoriko in the school. Ayato refused to this, he didn't want to blend with the human society for some reason. He even told me that I would die if I befriended people in the human society. And then one day, he left me, he left Anteiku. I was really sad and hurt...he was the only family member I had. His actions made me feel really lonely."

"What happened to him after that...?" Kaneki asked.

"I did hear about her malevolent actions in the 14th ward and other districts of tokyo." Touka stood up and looked away hiding her tears, "that's it. This is my past' now if you'll excuse m-"

Kaneki caught her wrists,"don't hide your tears, cry all you want. I am sure you'll feel better after after crying."

She turned to him, her tears rolled down her cheeks, she cried uncontrollably, "I have no one now! No one...just no one..I am all alone.."

"No! You're not alone! You have us! You have Anteiku!" Kaneki protested to what Touka said.

"What do you know about me-?!"

"I understand how you feel Touka-chan...I lost my family too afterall."

Touka widened her eyes; Kaneki still continued,"don't worry..you have me...I'll always stay with you no matter what."

"R-Really...?"

"Yeah Touka-chan...I-I.."

"Y-You what?"

"I love you so much!" Kaneki yelled while blushing.

Touka couldn't believe what she just heard, HE confessed to her. She immediately hugged him and said,"Idiot. I love you too."

Kaneki was shocked but before he could hug her back, she ran away, ran away crying again.

He kneeled down on the grass, looked down, "what...just...happened?" His heart was filled with happiness which he couldn't express. He stood up again and looked at Touka's image which was just fading away. He smiled.
