I walked into the airport hoping to see my best friend Katie. We had met back in college and after we graduated, she went back home to England, and we kept in touch ever since. After her begging me to come and visit for years, I finally broke down and took a vacation from my job to go and visit.

"Chris! Over here!" I hear someone call me.

"Katie!" I said running over to her.

"I'm so glad you finally came out here."

"Well I figured it was either I come to visit or you would never leave me alone," I teased.

"Well I am glad you're here. I have such a fun week planned for us that by the end of the week, you'll never want to leave."

"Doubt it, you know I have a job back home in New York City."

"I know, you're in a Broadway show. But you do know you could just work in the theaters here."

"Ain't happening," I laughed.

The two of us went to her house and she helped me get settled into the guestroom. "I'm sure you must be tired after that flight. Go take a nap. After, I'll take you out on the town."

Katie was right, the nap was just what I needed to feel relaxed. Katie said she was going to take me out on the town, so I went to change out of my clothes. "That's what you're wearing?"

I looked at her confused, "Why? What's wrong with it?"

"We're going for a night out on the town, you need to wear something…you know…something that isn't really you."

"You mean something more like what you'd wear?"

"Exactly! Come on I'm sure there's something you can find in my closet to wear."

After going through everything in her closet Katie found what she said would be the perfect thing for me. "Here, go change into this."

"Katie, I don't know about this. I mean this outfit is so not me."

"Exactly," she smiled. "How do you expect to get the attention of guys dressed the way you normally do?"

"Who said I was going out to pick up some guy?" I said.

"Trust me, you'll change your mind when you see the guys around."

The two of us went to one of the local bars that Katie went to many times. Everyone there knew her but I felt so out of place. I knew the only way I'd make it through the night is if I just drank, and that's what I did. Katie was busy with a bunch of guys that she knew so I went off on my own and sat at the bar.

"Hey mind if I join you?" I heard a voice next to me.

"Chair is free," I said grabbing another drink.

"You're not from here are you?"

I shook my head, "New York City. Visiting my best friend. But she's busy as you can see," I said pointing to where Katie was.

"Looks like she's not too interested in you visiting if you ask me."

I shrugged, "She says I need to loosen up. Maybe I do," I said swallowing the rest of my drink and ordering another.

"My name is Liam," he smiled.

"Chris. Nice to meet you."

After about an hour, I had just a little too much to drink and I didn't care. Liam and I seem to be hitting it off pretty well and maybe Katie was right, I would find a guy while out here. This trip to England was just what I needed.

Katie looked around and didn't see me anywhere. "Hey, did you guys see where my friend went?"

"You mean the blonde girl that came in with you? Yea she just took off with the Prince somewhere," her friend Taylor said.

"Prince Liam?! Did you see where she went?"

Taylor shook his head, "But we all know where he probably took her. Where he always takes whichever girl that's going to be his for the night."'

I was with Liam in the palace, "Come on," he said sneaking me in and bringing me to his room. "You knew who I was didn't you?" he smiled.

"Maybe," I giggled as I pulled him into a kiss. "Prince or not, I don't care." The last thing I remembered was he laid me down on the bed and shut the light.
