Princess Tutu- Prologue
Every girl dreams of being a princess. Every princess dreams of being a normal girl. What happens when you have both and then it all is taken away? You turn into a duck at least that is what has happened to Ahiru.
She was a duck at first of course but with the help of a deceased writer named Drosselmeyer, Ahiru had become not only a girl, but Princess Tutu. After she had help give the prince his heart back, she was forced to become a duck again. At least Ahiru wasn't alone. She had the former knight, Fakir to accompany her.
Princess Tutu- To be a girl
Fakir sat near the lake, watching Ahiru swim. It had been two years since the incident and he was now an assistant instructor at Kinkan Academy. Rue and Mytho had returned and settled down for a bit nearby, visiting Fakir and Ahiru now and then. Despite all of the peace, one thing bothered Fakir. Ahiru got the short end of the stick and he could do nothing about it.
Fakir had constantly tried to return her to human with his stories but could not prevail. He constantly tried to write but always ended up with smeared ink and tears on the paper. Ahiru claimed she was happy but he could sense the sadness in her actions. At least, he thought he did. Maybe Fakir was doing this for himself. 'What was the truth?' Fakir often wondered.
Ahiru was swimming by the lake when she heard the familiar banging of drums from the opposite side of the lake. She was positive that it was Uzura. Looking to see Fakir busy with writing, she swam to the other side of the lake and saw a cloaked figure. She saw the figure approach her.
"Quack!?" (Uzura what is going on?) Ahiru saw the figure of the young puppet vanished and only the cloaked figure remained. She quacked as he grabbed her. But instead of taking her away, he placed a pendent similar to the one she once had before. He placed her small duck body into the lake and she emitted a golden glow. Suddenly, Ahiru was floating in the lake without feathers. Her salmon hair was down and she suddenly realized what had happened. "I'm… human?"
Fakir saw the glow and shouted at Ahiru but she couldn't hear him. He turned to see the Ahiru that he had missed deeply. "But how?" Fakir jumped into the lake and swam towards her, ignoring his wet clothes. "Ahiru!"
Ahiru saw Fakir swimming towards her. "Fakir! Something happened! And there was this g…" She saw Fakir blushing and looked down. As before, when she transformed there were no clothes on her body. Ahiru shrieked and the two quickly swam back where Fakir handed her his shirt that covered a good amounts of her body. They stood there for a while, speechless. All of the words that they wished to tell each other had disappeared. Ahiru was back and that was all the mattered.
