I've finally bitten the bullet and decided to upload my RPM fics to FFnet. Right now I only have three drabbles, all about Doctor K, which I posted on LiveJournal a few months ago - but once I've uploaded those, I'll post all future fics on both sites at the same time. I haven't decided yet what my update schedule is going to be for the backlog (once a week, maybe?) but, for today, here's the first Doctor K drabble...

Summary: With a virus-controlled Ranger Black on the rampage, Doctor K can no longer deny what she's been hiding.
Original Author's Note: This is set during the scene at the end of "Brother's Keeper" - I just wanted to explore what K's thoughts might have been as that was happening. I started writing it yesterday but it took me ages to cut it down to 100 words, and even after all of that I'm not sure it comes across as well as I'd hoped. But in any case, I've finished it, so here it is.

Her mind races ahead, processing the situation at lightning speed. She already knows.
"The original code used to programme the Venjix virus..."
She takes a deep, shuddering breath. Hearing it said aloud, she can't deny what must be done. But -
Then Operator Series Black throws off the Rangers restraining him and she starts typing.
Her fingers clatter over the keys -
Ranger Black grabs the soundcannon from Ranger Green -
She barely pauses before hitting enter. Ranger Black collapses.
She looks down. It's unavoidable now; they will learn the truth about Venjix - about her.
She is surprised by how much she cares.
