Ronks
"Remus-"
"No."
"Remus, please!"
"NO!" he shouted at her, and Tonks cowered back. He sighed and looked at the ground, ashamed of himself.
"But, I love you, Remus," she said and he looked at her, his eyes filling with tears.
"I know you do, Tonks, but we can't be together. We can never be together. You know that. I'm too old, too poor. I'm not good enough for you," he said, slumping the floor and Tonks stood from her chair and moved to sit beside him on the floor.
"Remus, if I'm not with you, I'll die alone. I wouldn't be able to live without you, Remus. I'm in love with you. Without you, the world around me changes. Life is not worth living. So what if we're poor? Molly will feed us!" Remus smiled then, and so did she, "and you're not 'old'. A few years older than me, but that hardly matters. You're still perfect to me," she said softly, scooting over to be sat right beside him. She rested her head on his shoulder and beamed when he didn't pull away, but wrapped his arm around her instead.
She nestled into him and he sighed, "why is love never easy?"
She just smiled up at him, her eyes catching his, "it wouldn't be love otherwise." And he moved his head catching her lips with his in their first kiss.
When he pulled away, he spoke, "be mine, Tonks, please."
She grinned, "I've always been yours, Remus," and their lips met again, and it was just as sweet as before.
