Jessica stood next to the bay window in her newborn son's room trying to settle the infant's cries

Jessica stood next to the bay window in her newborn son's room trying to settle the infant's cries. He had been crying for close to an hour now and Jessica's nerves were wearing thin. Just then she felt a slight tug on the bottom of the pink sundress she was wearing. She looked down to find her daughter wearing the same sundress as her mother.

"What's wrong Bree?"

"Baby mad?" Bree asked innocently

Jessica laughed softly, "No angel he is just really tired but won't go to sleep"

Bree looked confused but shrugged and held up her teddy bear. Nash had gotten her the teddy bear right after she had been born and she slept with it every night.

"Baby have"

Jessica was shocked by her daughter's gift smiled lovingly at her. "You are giving you teddy bear to your brother?"

Bree nodded excitedly, "It help him sleep"

Jessica gently took the bear from her daughter and placed a kiss on her forehead, "Mommy loves you"

Bree smiled, "Bree loves you" and then she ran out of the room.

Jessica placed the bear against her son's cheek humming softly to him as his tears suddenly ceased and his screaming became slight hiccups as he drifted off to sleep. Jessica was amazed as she placed him in his bassinet with the bear. She stayed a few extra minutes to watch him sleep.

Ever since she had given birth to him a month ago her life had been constantly busy. It was not easy raising two such young children alone. She let her hand graze his forehead and watched as he sighed, she smiled, "I love you Presley" She then left his nursery to go tuck her two year old daughter in.

Jessica entered her bedroom and lay down on the bed. Every night she tucked both kids in and then went to bed by her self, all alone. It was then she really felt his loss. Nash had been gone over ten months now, but it still felt like it was yesterday. Jessica stayed strong for her children, but at night when she was by her self she let herself feel all the pain that was still in her heart.

She remembers going through her pregnancy alone wishing and longing for Nash's presence, if only to help with Bree. She remembers Bree asking for her daddy every morning for three months straight and how every time it broke her heart to have to tell her daughter that daddy wouldn't be coming home today, tomorrow, or any day soon.

Jessica remembers giving birth to the son they had talked about so many times of having and how she named him the name Nash had picked out for their son, before they even knew they were having another baby let alone a son. She cries as she wishes with everything she has that Nash would have been there. Their son looked identical to his father and it both, broke her heart to have a 24 hour a day/ seven days a week reminder of her loss, and it also filled her with love and joy that she has another piece of Nash to hold and love since he's gone.

Jessica laid her head on her pillow and pulled the blankets tightly around her self as she cried herself to sleep again. It had been ten months since he had left this earth and she still cried herself to sleep.

THE NEXT MORNING….

Jessica awoke with the son shining on her face. She quickly became panicked as she realized she was naked. Looked around the room she realized it wasn't the room she had fallen asleep in. It was her old room at the vineyard. She quickly threw her robe on over her naked body and rushed down the hall.

She checked every room, Bree room was the same but Presley didn't have a room. She hurriedly entered the living room not seeing her daughter anywhere either.

Just then she heard her daughter squeal with laughter as Nash appeared with Bree in his arms.

Jessica feel the breath in her body escape as Nash looked at her smiling brightly with all the love in the world he held for his wife and daughter.
