FOOL ME ONCE

Dean looked down at the thing wearing his brother's face. A lock of brown hair flopped over its forehead and would have projected a boyish charm, were it not for the lips locked into a twisted grimace and the hate emanating from its hollow dead eyes. Dean added more weight to the boot resting on the creature's neck. As close as he could tell, it was some bastardization of a shape shifter and a skinwalker.
"Fool me once…twice…and all of that…" he muttered, waving a dismissive hand in the air. The axe descended.
Dean slowly sank to his knees.
