Hamish: 16
John: 10
John didn't feel to good. He was coming home from a trip to Scotland with his brother and their carriage had been rattling along for the past hour. Hamish was reading a book. But John had eaten to much before they started and the harsh jolting of the carriage did little to help his aching tummy. Then the carriage hit a rock, nearly bouncing, and John gave a small involuntary moan.
Hamish looked up from his book.
"John, are you alright?"
The younger Watson nodded.
"You have many talents, Johnny, but lying is not one of them."
"My tummy hurts."
Hamish put down his book and put his hand on his brother's stomach. It was gurgling and cramping.
"You ate too much, there is nothing I can do."
Another small groan. Hamish sighed.
"Comme here, Johnny."
When they finally arrived home, their parents were surprised to see John fast asleep on his brother's lap, Hamish running his fingers through the little boy's hair.
