Prologue..
I'd always known that Kaoru & I were different. We were very obviously co-dependent. People only ever tried to be friends with us because of who our parents are. Maybe thats why we didn't trust anyone. We shut out the world & anyone who was different. We played games when we got bored.. when we were fed up of those games it was 'GAME OVER.' It wasthe same with people. When we got bored of hanging around with them we would just ditch them. I had a feeling that someday it will be the same with the host club, that someday either me or Kaoru would get fed up of Tono & the others so we would just leave. Well, that was our plan anyway. But that was before Haruhi.. Before wonderful, beautiful Haruhi made her way into our lives. I want everythig to stay the same forever. For me and Kaoru and Haruhi to stay together forever.
But Hikaru.. You know in your heart that it'll never work.
I know Kaoru.. I know.
