"What's wrong?"

A soft shrug was her response.

"Tell me."

Large blue eyes turned from the Quidditch field to the young man beside her. A frown was etched upon the face that was normally blank. Black eyes were filled with worry, something she always hated to see. She leaned her head against shoulder and gave no response.

"Katie, you need to tell me what's wrong. You haven't been yourself for the past couple of days and it's starting to worry me." Muscular arms pulled her to sit on his lap and adjust her head to fit underneath his chin.

"It's stupid." Katie mumbled.

"If it's so stupid, then why are you like this?" He scoffed in response.

A moment of silence passed the young Gryffindor quickly rushed, "DoyouthinkI'mtoochildish?"

"You know I only speak English, and many believe just barely." Marcus Flint responded with a light chuckle.

"Do you think I'm too childish?" Katie said slower.

"Why would you ever think that?" He asked as he embraced her a little tighter in form of comfort.

"I don't know. Just.. Angie and Ali keep trying to change me. Like they keep saying that I have to dress more appropriately or start caring about my appearance and stuff like that. They say that I have to start acting my age."

A low growl emitted from the Slytherin, his embrace becoming slightly too tight for comfort but she didn't mind. She knew he was going to be angry, but she couldn't lie to him about what was going on.

"Babe, don't you ever think for a second that you ever have to listen to anyone but yourself. Johnson and Spinnet are mental. You are perfect just the way you are!"

"You're just saying that because you're my boyfriend." She replied softly.

"No, I'm not saying it just because I'm your boyfriend. I'm saying it because it's true."

"Really?" Doubt clearly evident in her voice.

"Yes, really."

"But my voice is squeaky."

"And I sound like a forty year old smoker."

"I have a baby face."

"And I look like a troll."

"I break into random laugh attacks that last forever."

"Which shows that you have a great sense of humor."

"I eat everything with a spoon. Except soup, that I eat with a fork and a spoon."

"That's not childish though. That just makes you weird." He chuckled.

"I'm weird."

"Yes, yes you are. But you are my weirdo. My perfect weirdo."

"You're weird too." She said jokingly. Her worries nearly completely forgotten.

"And that's why we're perfect for each other." He said as he placed a kiss on her forehead.

Katie couldn't help the smile that grew on her face. He always knew what to say to make her feel better.
