Albus Dumbledore waited in the ferryboat alongside the other spirits of the dead. He was, of course, familiar with the Greek notion of the underworld, but never expected it to be true, nonetheless here he was, waiting for his judgement that would likely not be a positive noe (Not tht he deserved one anyways). He wondered if Ariana was there somewhere, or maybe even... Gellert.
The boat stopped at an area full of people waiting in line, and he could see Cerberus In the area. He waited in the line alongside the other souls of the dead, as there wasn't much else to do. Eventually he reached a room. Three men sitting in thrones, wearing golden masks stared towards him.
"I say fields of punishment. His own sister!" The middle one said
"Let's not forget he overthrew Grindewald" The left one said
"If not for him, Grundewald wouldn't have even risen. Although I do agree that he was a crucial part in defeating Riddle. I say Elysium"
Minos, begrudgingly overtaken by the majority, quickly snapped his fingers.
Albus was in a green, vivid meadow that had a few people over there. He guessed it was Elysium, for those with virtuous or heroic deaths. How ironic. But as he reflected, a spirit came to him.
"Are you going to try for rebirth?" It said
What do you mean?" He asked, not used to being the inexperienced one
"Souls that came to Elysium have a... Second chance of sorts. The chance of reaching the Isles of the Blessed, in case you end up in Elysium for the second or even third time. You will, However, forget your past life until you die again"
A second chance... Of undoing all the mistakes tht had been done, he thought, as he came along the spirit.
"This is River Lethe. Once you touch the water, you forget."
Albus touched the water and waited for his new life.
