Warning: CONTAINS YURI. (Girl-on-Girl)
Disclaimer: I don't own Storm Hawks. (If I did, I think I would be writing scripts for it, not a stupid fanfiction =P)
"So," Lark began, smirking as she glanced around Piper's room, then back to the navigator herself, "which one's yours?"
Piper blinked. "Huh?"
"Oh, come on, you know what I'm talking about," the blond prompted, her eyes glinting with a mischeivous curiosity. When she received no reaction, she rolled her eyes and hissed, "I'm talking about boys!"
"Oh... Oh!" Piper's face flushed. "I... I'm not dating anyone, I-"
"Yes, but if you were..." Lark paused, stretching out the word as her grin returned, "who would it be?"
The dark-haired girl continued to blush. She'd never really thought about the rest of the team that way, or anyone, for that matter. She was always too busy with other things and had had to push those thoughts to the back of her mind. The sudden question about it had set her mind racing into overdrive... Junko was sweet and cuddly. Stork was... strange, but somehow alluring. Finn annoyed the hell out of her. Aerrow was...
"Well?" her friend asked impatiently.
"I... don't know, I mean, I never really thought about-"
"Oh, I get it..." Lark's smile broadened as she realised. "You're not into guys, are you?"
Piper's amber eyes widened and her blush deepened further as her best-friend-forever placed a hand on each of the navigator's hips.
"Is that what it is, Piper?" The blond purred, leaned closer.
Piper's heart pounded in her chest. She opened her mouth to protest but no words would come out, even if she had known what to say. She couldn't move a muscle.
"Piper..." the green-eyed girl whispered softly, but never finished her sentence. Instead, she gently planted her pale lips against Piper's dark ones.
Piper was overwhelmed with emotion, her cheeks hot from blushing so much and her eyes peeled open in shock, but...
Lark's lips felt soft and sweet. They moved perfectly and soon Piper found herself kissing back. She liked the way her heart raced.
It was over all too soon. Piper wanted more, but made no complaint when Lark pulled away. The storm hawk was a little surprised to see the blond was blushng too.
"I shouldn't have..." Lark muttered almost to herself as she glared at the floor. "I can't let this happen." Piper reached forward but she was quickly pushed back again. Their eyes met for a moment of angst before Lark began to creep towards the door. "I... I need some air."
"Lark, wait. I-"
Lark shook her head furiously. "I'm sorry!" she hissed as she dashed away, leaving Piper standing awkwardly and alone. Tears began to form and roll down her cheeks as she gazed after the girl who had stolen her first kiss.
But it was not meant to be...
I've never written yuri before. I don't really read it either. I don't really know if I've done well or not. So what did you think?
