I couldn't be arsed limiting myself to however many words, so they're just your basic average drabble, as short as I can be bothered to make them.

1. Lid
"Bet I can climb higher than you!" Pouncival called to Tumble as they played around their human's house.
"Bet you can't!" his brother replied, grinning like mad and hopping up onto the worktop.
"Can too!"
Pouncival readied himself and focused on his target – he was going to jump onto that big yellow box thing, then onto the freezer – that was way higher than where Tumble was! He prepared, wiggled his rump like he'd seen the adults do (much to Tumble's amusement) and sprang.
He had thought he'd landed successfully, until whatever he'd landed on gave way and he fell into it.
"Tumble!" he yelped. "It's eating me!"
It was only when he heard Tumble laughing and his eyes adjusted enough to see what was next to him that he realised he'd fallen into the swing-lid bin…

I've always wanted to watch a cat doing that, but mine refuse to (plus the bin's in the wong place). I wouldn't like to give them a cuddle afterwards, though...
