I was terrified. I had no clue where I was going, or what I was even doing. All I knew was that I wanted to get out of that town as soon as possible. Once I started driving, I didn't stop, I couldn't stop. I passed town after town, city after city. But I still didn't stop; well not until I had realized that I was running out of gas. As I pulled into the nearest gas station I felt warm tears streaming down my face. I can't remember how long I sat in that car. It must've been hours because eventually, I just ran out of tears. I pulled my dark wig off and stared at my reflection in the mirror. I didn't see the mascara running down my cheeks, how tangled my hair was, or even the dark rings around my eyes. I could only see the one thing that I so desperately wished would just go away, I saw Alison DiLaurentis.
